    Good Morning BBB.
I am the luckiest BBBer - have been mugged and bowled!

Dave - there are only a few things that we have in the RV and your bowl is center stage filled with candies or other goodies. Brilliant! The Army mug and coffee will be used and loved!

Yesterday, we went to the next town over called Araial do Cabo and did a boat tour with a couple of beach stops.

Your pasty white American friend emerged from peak sun exposure unscathed while his grizzled veteran Brazilian wife shall heretofore be called "Patch" in recognition of the multiple burned areas on her body.

    Mornin' BBB.

Out late last night helping a breeder with a litter of sick lab puppies. Only four out of nine pups left and only 2 weeks old. This guy spent some cash on an incubator with an oxygen generator and its helping. Last night we started nebulizing with an antibiotic. We are waiting on the pathology report on one of the dead pups.

Hope all that are feeling punky are feeling better.

Christmas goodies are pouring in. Thankfully a lot of fruit but yesterday someone dropped off gingerbread cupcakes. Tried one and loved it. Perfect cupcake and great icing. Gingerbread flavor was not overpowering.

Today is the DMV and change of residence. Pretty exciting.
Waited all day yesterday for the Century Link guy to install our internet - he was a no show. Needless to say - not happy.
Sam - hoping you get a full release and can get back to the gym and other activities.
Mary - I love your attitude.
Bill, Steph, Dave, Dennis and all that are under the weather - hoping you feel better.
Lou - keep the Brazil pics and stories coming.
    Do good out there everyone.

    Morning~

    BEAUTIFUL BOWN!!

Thanks for all you do, Mr. Critter Fixer!

DF will be on a plane in 4 more hours. I have DDS appointment so DW will be on Taxi duties. I think we finally reached our pinnacle of time together yesterday. Not sure why we struggle! His "you are an ego maniac comment" was about the last straw. I won't be buying a return ticket anytime soon for him.

Still battling flu - head now. Moved out of chest.

Keep chatting, Ambassador! We love what you do for the community! Is the balance restored in the Crozier home after DB's annoying visit?

My niece finished Chemo yesterday! So damm proud of her. She's been resilient!

    Good morning
Lee, I’ve never heard of someone losing puppies like that. Very sad. Interested to hear the pathology report

On another note, I have the American bulldog people in an argument over the correct tome to neuter Henry. I don’t want to do it too early. Reading about growth plates not closing causing joint problems. But, not too late either.

Have fun lisa. Haven’t heard much out of Steph. You doing ok?
Sam, hoping you can get back into the gym.
    Lou loving the pics.

Raine. Lucky lady got a bowl!!!! Are you going to live on the rv or get a house? My sis has an rv and a “tiny house” behind it for guests. She has it on the upper west end of lake ochacobee.

Remember, guests are like fish they begin to really stink after 3 days.

Ds1 got a job. He started st the jail yesterday. He doesn’t like it. He applied to get into a masters program.
    Ds2 is home for break.
    And I’m pooped.
40 plus days until the cruise. Woot.

RV or House - We are going to take some time and figure out where and how we want to live. We are not going to make any decisions immediately - we have been on a whirlwind ride for the past month and need to recenter and figure it out. Tom is heading up north for a big job the day after Christmas for 10 days or so - we will reassess when he returns.
RV living forever - NO - but we are going to definitely simplify our lives and hit the road in the summers for work and pleasure.
In the meantime we continue to purge unneeded stuff - less is more!

    Good morning BBB friends.

Raine, I debated whether to send the bowl, since I knew you were downsizing. Glad you like it.

Lisa, lucky people who choose to chat on your shift.

Keep us feeling warm, if only vicariously, Lou.

Still feeling pretty lousy, but know that this will pass. Glad I didn't come down with it next week.

    Good morning BBB friends.
    • One of the best parts of pre-booking a cruise is the anticipation.
    • "Less is More". I totally agree. Don't let stuff rule your life.
    • I'm enjoying my winter vacation in Brazil, even if it is only thru Lou's pictures.
    • Nice bowl and is that the world famous Battle Bean Coffee from the Battle Bean Cafe on JBLM?
    • Recovery continues.

    Morning BBB

We are about halfway to kansas city. Visiting an existing store this morning (a good one so should be quick) then driving into Missouri to visit two of the stores that will comvert to the gordmans name plate in March. Overnight at the plaza in KC.

Car is loaded almost full with things we will store at Dad's plus our weekly luggage. Will t go home until after Christmas. Some things didn't make it sister's husband was working in Omaha yesterday and he was supposed to stop and get the clothes and shoes I am gifting to sister. He forgot since daycare was closed and he has a 4yo with home.

Kelly I'll be in Indiana twice in January but not sure I'll have time for a visit as I won't have a car the week I am near you. Fort wayne/michiwauka the second week.

Kelly, growth plates don't completely close on a dog like Henry until 18 months old. I wouldn't neuter before then. The only reason to do earlier, IMHO, is bad behavior. Bad behavior (overly dominant, aggressive) trumps the growth plate concern. Truthfully, unless he is over sexual, I wouldn't recommend neutering at all.

    Good Afternoon!

I noticed the pink flowing shrubs at the gate right away, had to go back and find the pigeon Lee mentioned. Funny how he picked up the bird, I picked up the flowering shrub....

Sorry the pups are struggling, Lee. Hope the rest thrive well! Let us know what the tests show.

Nice bowl, Raine, lucky Lady!!! How's the weather? How's Jack doing, lovin his beach time, Im sure!

Skip, you need some sleep and rest! just wondering, did you take a flu shot?

Hope the rest of you sick all feel better soon, too! Sorry you and your Dad didn't have such a great visit this time.

Poor Henry, gonna loose his nads :(

    Safe travels Steph!

I got my dozen photo craft gifts done last night and mess cleaned up! Now onto choc dipped pretzel rods to go with, and done.

OK, sickies Christmas is next week; time to kick the bugs, feel better and enjoy the season
Fully agree that company like fish, max 3 days (now this not not apply to us invading Raine and Tom near beach)
Skip, sometimes its hard for one generation to clearly communicate with another; I'm sure no harm was intended on either side.
Another beautiful bowl produced by an artist Dave,
As usual doctors always insist one see another along with more test; partly my fault was suppose to get CT and return 3 years ago, nurse found order still standing.
Took DMIL to get hair cut so I would not have to do it, took her to my barber shop and told girl I wanted it cut short, much shorter than some guys walking out. As it stands now she will leave Friday and not return till Sunday week; could not ask for a better Christmas gift.
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam I am
