Good morning.
At a little market in Cecilia's home town drinking coffee, but it's been a herculean effort to get it. They keep treating me like I'm a freak because I take my coffee black. Two separate ladies have brought by sugar and Zero-Cal. And one just returned with milk even though I specifically asked for no sugar or milk.
A view from a cuppa:
We spent 9 hours in the car for a normally 4 hour ride to Cecilia's mom's house. But, this concrete sculpture gives me pause. We talk about child beauty pageants and how they sexualize children, but nobody discusses the tarting up of pets.0 -
Mornin' BBB.
Wow. Naughty kitty. And the dwarfs are doting on Snow White.
Not much going on today...honey do list keeps getting longer. But I love my honey so its all good.
Already tired of being buttasscold. Love the crisp temps of fall but not the below freezing stuff so much anymore.
BBB OP ;-)0 -
Buttasscold ha ha ha.
Yes lee, the daycare requires neutering by 6 months. He can go 1 more month and a few days. I’ll go as long as I can. He loved it and comes back one pooped pup.
Mary you sound busy!
Steph your weather sounds wonderful.
It’s not real cold here. I want snow!!!!!
I have one cup of coffee in the morning. Sometimes none yes none.
Meeting my dad and sis Saturday for coffee at 830.
2 very loud young men woke DH and me up at 2 am. I’m tired. I think a butt kicking is in order.
Wings on the grill for dinner tonight!! Yum.
I’ll cbl0 -
Good Morning BBB.
I think those elves are doing more than doting 😳
Lots of rain here - good day to work indoors and sort through the office files I moved down.
Working to get vehicle insurance - I found a good agent so that helps.
I can't find the title to our Mini Moke so I'll have to order a replacement from Illinois - $95!
Next is switching healthcare.
Working to get a service person to fix things in the RV that the dealership should have done before delivery - all covered under warranty but still requiring multiple phonically to get clearance.
Lee - come down here and visit - we used to come down for the moth of February - lovely weather - even just a long weekend can help.
Kelly - It's interesting that the daycare would require neutering at 6 months. That is quite early - as Lee said - unless there is a behavioral problem waiting is preferred.
Sam - cookies don't have the appeal they used to for me either - dark chocolate is my weakness.
Do good out there everyone.

Morning~
Is "buttasscold" colder or warmer than "freezingmyassoff?" As a PhD, I am always interested in research and tossing out faulty data.
Lou - is this what James Bond was talking about? Is this the REAL *kitten* Galore??
Lots of meetings today. Full cup of Joe at my side. I will stop procrastinating and hit it.....
Still feeling puny!
Steve?
Lisa - how is Jim's hand (any update)?
CBL.

Steve is good...I think.
Skip, I think they are equivalent. Feel better, buddy.
Kelly, I understand why Doggy Day Care requires neutering. It does prevent testosterone induced scuffles.
Just got a call from one of the people that Babe and I train with...one of the group's dogs was euthanized because of a pyothorax (fluid producing infection inside the chest cavity) and collapsed lung. Most likely caused by a migrating grass awn or seed. Effing shame. "Trouble" was a really good dog and his owner/handler is crushed.

Oh, Lee! I'm sorry to hear.
Perhaps SJ will show Trouble around the Rainbow Bridge and where the really cold water bowls are......

Good morning BBB Friends.
- I expect we'll be hearing about a #metoo issue from Snow White.
- Sorry to hear about Trouble Lee. What a shame.
- Raine, it is amazing all the things you have to do when you move out of state. For someone who used to be a nomad I haven't done that in a long time.
- It has warmed up here back to normal December temperatures but it is wet, very wet.
- Get well all. I am considerably better but this nagging cough won't go away.

Morning. BBB
Advantage of traveling with Ron: he drives es so I can work, get to see him more, actually do stuff in the evening in other towns etc
Disadvantage of traveling with Ron:. He is a super early riser. We were ready to leave the hotel before my alarm even went off. Yawn.
At least I got to watch the sunrise over the plains of Kansas.0 -
Good Morning,
From a rainy day in Georgia, cool today mostly 40's
DMIL is gone for morning to Senior center then Walmart; she scheduled bus for between 8:30 and 9: am; at 8 when DW when to get some nuts out of freezer DMIL was still in bed. Know she did not have time to bathe, no wonder so many old folks smell and try to cover up odors with cologne. This afternoon I'll ask when was last time she had a shower, I'm willing to bet it was Sunday or Monday.
OK Skip and Dave; time to get well!!!
Enjoy the Day,
Sam I am

Awe that's sad Lee. Its hard to lose a pet uggghhh.
A rainy day in Milwaukee, mild today mostly 40's - and no snow is fine with me, as DS1 is not flying with the team today, he's on the road driving himself to Chicago to work a bball game Sat, then driving to my house, then back to Columbus to catch the plane to the Rose Bowl. What a life this kid has!
I'm busy Kelly, but in a non stress happy way! Since not baking cookies this year, last night I made 3 cranberry breads to gift, and some dark, milk, white choc pretzel rods for giveaways to go with my photo craft project gifts. I hacked photos of friends and family off facebook, is that legal?.
I don't like my new led lights on two shrubs out front, the yellow is too bright. I will have to change these out for next year. Or maybe tonite yet LOL.
Im up at 5am Steph, and in bed by 8:30-9pm week days. I was showered, wrapping gifts and at the dentist this morning by 7:10am.
Well, least they wear hair nets Lou (see lady in background), no hair in your covfefe
I like what looks to be a potting shed in the kitty photo, as well. Where's Waldo?
So looking forward to a 5 day weekend, then a 4 weekend after that.
Kelly, that's what kids do when they come home for holidays.... stay up late, sleep in late. You should Run the vacuum!
Speaking of vacuum, SO bought on Amazon, the robot vacuum for his dd, it showed up yesterday, used! With dust, dirt etc. inside the canister. He is none too happyAnd it shows Amazon warehouse as the seller... uugggghhhh.
Enjoy your quiet time Sam, maybe dmil with buy you and dw some gifts while at Wally world today.
All this elf on the shelf talk this next generation is doing with their kids now days. We just got yelled at a lot to knock it off and threatened Santa wasn't coming if we didn't behave.... told you'd get coal.
Be well, be safe, be happy BBB0 -
Mary, parents can't give coal anymore. The EPA won't allow it.0

Good morning BBB friends.
Still feel lousy, but maybe a little better. I'm going to hang on to that thought, anyway.0 -
So sad Lee. Gone too soon.0
