Today, I presented my final public workshop for 22 clients. The title was “ The Invisible Tax Time Bombs’. I like dramatic headlines!
Great group of 23 attendees. I am a teaching lawyer. Mrs Santa Claus ( Barb Dunkin) of my office team added her magic to the event.

Exercise: 1h30 cycling on home trainer (strangth work)/gym cross training

Brought home my new sup last time. Sooo happy! I had planned to get it before Christmas and was running out of time without finding what I needed.4 -

I'm not as masterful at procrastination as the speaker, but it still feels true to me on so many levels. Especially the "panic monster".

Exercise? Yes, two walks today with DH. Eighty minutes this morning and another fifty minutes tonight to check out Christmas lights in the village.
Calories? Within allowance.

Back on track today! But it took some serious self-trashtalking to get up off the couch and do that workout. It was not particularly fun, but I am really glad I got it done. And even did all the stretching I should do more often...
So tracked, exercised, and within the limits. And I have more energy that before I did it all... Lesson I seem to have to learn over and over again.

@jugar mentioned "Solstice tomorrow" YAY!! Day after that, we start getting a bit extra sunlight every day! (I do know why, but it always seems slightly odd that [in the northern hemisphere] there is more light, but the temperature keeps getting colder)5 -

Back on track today. Out of ghe,winner's circle for this month, but pleased to be feeling better. Will use the rest of the month (minus a planned and mea sure deviation on Christmas day) to get a running start on a healthy and fit new year.6

Exercise went great. I did 28 minutes at 4 mph on the treadmill. After the holidays, I will make an appointment with an orthopedic doctor to check out my lingering ankle injury that is not healing.
Tracking: nope. Our daughter, Diana had us over for an early Feast of the Seven Fishes. Tracking was a no-could-do
The fish was a wonderful choice but I am quite sure that I am over in the calorie category.

Good on calories and tracking. Rest day so my activity was walking. Beautiful weather out today. Too bad my procrastination kept me stuck indoors for most of the day! I’m too tired to watch the ted talk right now @craigo3154, but I imagine I could relate. I am a painter and was commissioned to do a piece for a Christmas present. I got a start on it early in the week but left the majority for today. And this morning I decided I needed to scrap the entire thing and start over! It needs to be completed by tomorrow evening so I spent almost the entire day painting and will have to spend several more hours tomorrow. I don’t know what a ‘panic monster’ is but I think I can easily claim that title today!4

Exercise: Yes, 2 hours dog walking at animal shelter.
Calories: Yes, but all those cookie calories used up my dinner allotment.
Tracking: Yes, I’ve committed myself to tracking everything this year, and it’s been a bit eye opening in many ways.
