A tin of sweets is next to me, I'm completely ignoring them ~ even though they are screaming at me to eat them ... I know I can't just eat 1 or 2 so for me it's easier to have none at all !!9 -

Good thing I came here to catch up before having a dessert that would have put me over for the day! I thought I'd be able to squeeze it in but nope! It won't fit and you all have helped me make the right decision once again. Exercise was just some good brisk walking out in the slippery icy world. I hate freezing rain. But our horse got off to his new home all right and he seems to be settling right in.

ETA: managed to eat some sweets and stay under my calorie budget, and exercise, and track while the in-laws are still here. 👍5 -
@jugar and @jan110144 In my younger days, I occasionally went to a chiropractor due to a fall from a spooky horse. Now that I'm older, it only takes a wheeled cartload of horse manure to send me to the chiropractor.
I've got another doctor visit scheduled for the early morning. I'm better, but fragile.

Today was our last business day of 2018. We closed out our books and it was a year of growth for our team of 20 people. I am very appreciative of my law firm colleagues. We serve a lot of people who are burdened with very unwanted long-term care issues. On the other hand, most of our clients are healthy vigorous individuals and couples. Most of them are 60 years of age and above...like me. Most of our team of 5 attorneys and 15 staff members are much younger than me. That is good for our clients.

Exercise? Lots...beautiful day for a long walk of 85 minutes; another 105 minutes of exercise videos plus 20 minutes of vacuuming and mopping floors in preparation for company
Calories? Within allowance...would have been over had I not used exercise calories. We had guests for lunch...and then more guests for dinner so lots of preparation and cleanup time, too.
Tracking? You bet... that's what prompted the additional exercise. The cream puffs I made yesterday were good!
@RangerRickL Glad you are feeling a might bit better so that trip to Phoenix can, perhaps, go as planned.4 -

Wow, you all are an inspirational group! I haven’t matched your ability to stay on track in all three areas this month, but I have achieved my goal of not gaining any weight this holiday season so I’m really pleased about that!!
