Hi there, I am a 60 year old grandma and just had surgery with hope like I’ve never had before. I am looking for some bypass buddies. I am down a total of 50 pounds (40# pre op). I am feeling well and looking forward to the awesome changes.

I just had my surgery January 2nd!
I’m amazed at how little pain there was! Had a touch of ingestion yesterday evening, so coughing was a must. Ouch!
Liquid diet only for the first week, but that’s survivable. I think I go home tomorrow evening. I lost 35#s pre-surgery. How are you doing?1 -
I am feeling well. Advanced to puréed and did some meal prepping: egg salad, ricotta bake, and progreso soup with additional canned chicken. Trying to eat more than cottage cheese and yogurt1

I keep hearing about ricotta bake. What is that exactly?0
