March is almost here!
I've posted the UAC March discussion at this link https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/131420-ultimate-accountability-challenge-march-2019
Truthfully, my steadfast law firm administrator, Jessica, creates each month's UAC discussion format.
Thanks to Jessica!!!

Exercised?: Yes - 20 minute walk at Parkrun. I was a volunteer marshal today so only got to walk half the course, but it was raining anyway so probably worked out for the best!

Tracked?: Yes - all tracked.3 -
I’m contending with one of those moments that is always hard for me once committed to a fitness plan, and that is the fear of taking a day off - even when necessary - is going to permanently derail my plan and momentum.
I have ignored a nagging health issue for a couple days, and woke up today in pain. I’m sitting here fully dressed in workout clothes typing this.
I’d went to my car, and stood there, thought better of things and came back inside. This isn’t strength! I told myself, this is becoming foolish.
So, am wisely headed off to my pcp weekend clinic to get looked at. I’ll stay on track with my calories. I’ll take my second pass day as needed.5 -
@strongscarlet, smart move. I'm similar to you in that I push when I'm injured or don't feel good, because I worry that I won't make it back. However, the truth is, a long term illness or injury will knock you out of the game longer, if you don't address it. Taking care of yourself is the right thing to do. Good luck today.5
-
@Anya_000 Thanks! It helps to hear it is the right thing to do.
And it was. The clinic said I have a serious infection; might be one that requires a procedure.
Ugh.
So, they gave me antibiotics and a referral to a general surgeon to call Monday.
I’d just thought all week my discomfort was from soreness from exercise; no fever.
Surprise!
Taking Pass Day #2.
Stocked up on my groceries.
Business as usual for my diet.
And - my weigh-in showed today I have lost 8.8lbs in 29 days on MFP towards my 100lb total goal!5 -

Well, I went to a very decadent baby shower for a one-year-old and while I tried hard to not overdo it, I still managed to blow through a whole lot of calories. I am taking my third pass for the month and plan to finish strong and NOT get another one.4

I've been sick all week, but it's been a busy week. Soo since it's been raining all day and I had no obligations, I took a sick day.
I walked my dogs around the yard several times, so I did get some exercise, but nothing major.
I ate ok,but not the greatest.Well for me.No good veggies or fruits. Pretty much quick food.

@strongscarlet, way to go! Like you, I worry about derailing when I can't stick to my plan, but it's super important to have flexibility built into any plan, as well as to address any issues with our bodies to keep us as healthy and happy as possible. I hope that your infection is dealt with speedily.
@stella7x7, hope you feel better soon!
I had my last food-related special event of the week this afternoon. Rather than eating steadily the whole time, which is what I would have done previously, I made sure to have lunch before I went, and then I waited until I was hungry, stocked up on veggies and fruit before adding a few treats, and told myself that I could go back if I wanted--and I ended up not going back! I took a photo of my plate again, to make sure that I could log everything as accurately as possible. I don't think this week's weight loss is going to be as good as last week's, but as of this morning, I was still down, and I feel good about the choices I made.4 -

Exercise? Yes, 40 minute leisurely indoor walk in another mall this afternoon and a, subsequent, decidedly more energetic 20 minute session of low impact aerobics while watching some YouTube videos of "Amazing Places on our Planet." These videos provide me with unlimited travel ideas. While DH and I have been blessed to travel a fair amount, it would be wonderful to have an unlimited budget to see the world! One of our sons bought us a scratch off travel map as an X-mas gift in 2017 similar to the following. Like Rick Steves...it gives us incentive to "Keep on traveling!"
Calories? Within allowance
Tracked? Yes
@strongscarlet Well wishes are sent your way.
@stella7x7 You are such an admirable constant on this forum. I look forward to your rapid recovery from illness this week.
@TeresaW1020 Good attitude for a strong finish.
@fitphoenix Your approach to your last food-related special event of the week was admirable. THIS is the path to success.
Hope everyone has signed up for March. If you haven't, please sign up
I look forward to your continued participation! Happy Sunday to you all.4 -

Still struggling, but I am determined to be in the Winner’s Circle for my 11th month. (I began April 1 last year & intend to be in the Winner’s Circle all year.
Today was my 3rd Pass Day. We did go for a walk 9-10pm, so my surplus was very small, but still, over.
Exercise: 64 min walk
Tracked: all
Calories: over 86.
5 days. I can do this. In fact, I NEED to do this. UAC is saving me. I’m not sure what’s going on, but I’m committing to the next 5 days. No more passes AND, for me, I will not eat anything without an exact calorie count.
@RangerRickL Thank you for your caring message. I was quite moved. You set a really wonderful tone for our group.
Thank you @Anya_000❣️
UAC is what helps me the most at these rare times of struggle. You are all very inspiring. We are not alone.
Good luck everyone! Let’s rock February❣️ 5 days! We’ve got this!3 -

Pass Day
Saturday was hectic and busy and way too much eat on the go. Something I need to plan ahead for in the future so it doesn't happen again, or at the very least, fewer in frequency.2
