Hi I'm looking for someone to check in with daily to talk about calorie budgets, successes, or what to change if something didn't go right. Let me know :)

I looked at your diary. Off the top of my head I'd say you're addicted to sugar. Your eating seems, on the surface, to be out of control.

    Tell me something about yourself.
What do you hope to accomplish?
How bad do you want it?
Do you have access to a good supermarket?
    Can you cook?
Do you have time to invest?
    Can you handle constructive criticism?

Lol, forgot to check back here after joining. Firstly, thanks for your honest evaluation of my diary! I mean it, yes I'd say pretty out of control sadly as well. Somehow I've been able to maintain a significant weight loss and a healthy weight for over 5 years (although barely, I am very close to going back into the overweight category). I did keto for many months (and why i stopped using mfp and used chronometer for that time). I also run but don't log my workouts on mfp, they used to sync with endomondo but now they don't for whatever reason. lately I've been doing long distance hiking,
Sunday i did 20 miles, Friday I plan on doing 23. Let me answer the rest of the questions as best I can :)

What do you hope to accomplish? I am doing a southbound AT thru hike leaving beginning of July from Maine and walking back to my home in GA, so I'd like to lose as much as I can before then so that I'm carrying less weight on my body, and I'd like to know my caloric needs very accurately by then.

How bad do you want it? Hmm, this is a good one, unfortunately I rely on the fact that usually I "just do things" even when I'm not, at least on the surface, highly motivated. So while I don't feel like I want anything *that* bad, I certainly want it more than the alternative (if I do nothing, I get fat quick). And most days I'm pretty motivated to work at not completely giving up.

Do you have access to a good supermarket? Yes, we only eat 2 meals out per month, maybe I'm logging something wierd does it look like I'm eating out, I'll go back in my diary and check?

Can you cook? Yes, see previous EDIT - ok just looked through my diary and while we only eat two meals out per month, I will sometimes log my cooked meals by just clicking on a previous diary entry (like "Jim and Nicks Mashed Potatoes" were actually potatoes I pealed and boiled and mashed but with similar calories and portions as what I had that one time at a restaurant, so I just lazy logged but its still fairly accurate - I just figure after years of experience doing this I can pretty well eyeball calories and serving sizes, this isn't my first rodeo and I do have a food scale, but when I guestimate, it really is trustworthy). My problems are not accidentally logging a meal as 300 calories when in fact it may have been as much as 500 (although I'm never that far off lol), it comes from my completely out of control days-the ones you mentioned, like yesterday, where I ate 5000 calories because I felt sorry for myself, I know that's not normal, and if I did that every day I'd be 500 pounds, but thankfully its not an everyday occurrence. However, it is frequent enough that it is causing me to gain weight.

Do you have time to invest? Yes, my husband works so I just stay home and do what I want all day, which is actually tending a hobby farm or doing remodeling (I just put some hardwood floors down with no pneumatic nailer lol, that was a lot of work).

Can you handle constructive criticism? I'm person, probably not, I mean I'll pretend to but I'm sure I resent it lol, but here, yes please :) and thanks for your honest and taking the time to look through my diary!

Looking forward to more chats, I'll make sure to check back frequently!
