Is it normal for fitbit to only show a "summary" of food logged from MFP? I've tried revoking access on both websites, waiting 15 minutes and then re-linking.

  Yes. I think it's that maybe MFP is only sending caloric info and not specifics. Every once in a while it will be specific- maybe what we log in MFP isn't in Fitbit's data base.
