Mornin' gents.
The premise that piano tuning is more an art than a science is one I've heard before, Mike. I say go for it. Who is to say that you don't have that hidden talent.
Bill, are you feeling better today? Prayer is a powerful thing.
Speaking of faith...Does anyone believe in Sasquatch? I would like to believe, but I just can't believe that kind of life form could exist hidden in today's world. I am ashamed to say I wasted 20 minutes yesterday on youtube videos that an acquaintance sent me the links to. Squatchers are different.
Dave, sounds like you and Rita are experiencing a bit of a role reversal. Hope you are better today.

Good Morning!
I'm happy to report that not much going on here except month-end!
I am having a new hot water heater installed this morning. Always something....
Have a great day!0 -
Up an at 'em.
Frost on cars here this morning.
Am skipping Tuesday Bible study for the 3rd week in a row. Will see if I can take a short walk at local park to the 3 waterfalls there, all right near each other. Getting sick of hanging around my place so much. My P-F pain is not bad or anything, it's just that it is still healing. Doc said to walk until it starts to hurt, then stop. Didn't say how to get back to car... wait for a ride from a moose?
SIL, college sports coach, told me to avoid inflammatory foods and gave me some other exercises. Are donuts inflammatory?

LOL, if he is referring to gluten as inflammatory, then yes...donuts are inflammatory.0

Good morning gentlemen.
Mike, you crack me up. That Doc is definitely not a hiker.
DW was coughing all night, again. I feel better, after taking my Allegra.
I take many things on faith - but not bigfoot.
Really warm, this morning. When I got up at 4:30, it was 52 outside. Should be overcast and dry today.1 -
Good Morning!
Mike, I hope you gave the Doc a very obvious eye roll and a stare. I just got the carbohydrates are evil and inflammatory talk on a prayer post for me. Sensitivity varies greatly from person to person. I went gluten free of over 3 months with no perceivable impact. I know someone else who found tremendous relief. Though from a weight management approach perhaps that belief would be quite helpful.
I have a medical day today. My meloxicam free blood test for potassium levels early today, followed by my annual EchoCardiogram Stress test (the first in 4 or so years) and then my quarterly check in at the Pain Drs office. I will be able to discuss Meloxicam alternatives at that point that have less of potassium impact. I have been off the pills for 2 weeks now. Last summer I went off 4 long weeks with difficulty. After Sunday's prayer and treatment and a trip to the Healing Prayer Rooms last night, I am still stiffer than usual and feel it a bit in my hands and knees, but feel better than I have in a while. Nevertheless, my blood draw is at 8:30. A drink and a Meloxicam will be in my mouth by 8:40. But at least I know that if I had to stay off the anti-inflammatories for a long stretch I could make it work with some additional compromises. But what is aging, but an ongoing string of compromises which we try to offset and minimize?0 -
Good Afternoon,
Posted earlier, don't think I posted anything that should have been censored
Mike, you hike till foot starts hurting then jump on magic carpet for ride home
Dave, have you thought that Rita could have an allergy against you?
I believe Sasquatch is out caring for snipes in forest,
I believe one will find refined sugars are major inflammatory, but then if one reads a lot they will find beliefs change with the wind.
If piano is currently out of tune what can you hurt, if you don't get it turned it will still need turning; but you could also find a new profession; we have faith in you.
Enjoy the Day,
Sam I am
