A spring sunrise makes us happy.
A week ago, we had 4 inches of snowfall. Yesterday and today are beautiful spring days here in near Chicago, IL, USA.
The grandchildren will be able to play outside here at our farm for the first time this year.
Blessings to you all,
Rick

We went on a few dog walks but they were more like leisurely strolls. Over by a few calories, just super hungry today, good choices just a little too much.

No family gatherings today, so easy to stay on track. Our son and family returned from vacation, so their dog, Teddy, was excited to go home.5 -

Exercised: 16K steps
Calories: Yes

Packed some healthy options for the long car ride today, and had a light dinner when we got to Ottawa. Feeling that this holiday has been entirely enjoyable and also a success food-wise--and hope the scale agrees with me at the end of this week!7 -
Saturday -
- Exercise: yes (walking outside plus ~90 minutes on the mini-trampoline)
- Logged everything: yes, pretty sure I got it all
- Under calorie limits: Nope - not by a long shot .... and there wasn't even any chocolate involved
Sunday - Already declaring it a Pass day as well - Brunch at Mom's retirement home wasn't something that could be worked out for logging purposes ... but a wonderful, special time with her, hubby and son - son came back with us for more visiting and light supper before heading off to meet friends for his Game Of Thrones meet-up.
So one way or an other, I sure seem to be out of the running for the UAC winner's circle this month. (day I slept late; Swiss Chalet followed by DQ; yesterday and today)
I will still consider this month a personal "Big Win" if I still end up in the lower end of my maintenance zone, close to where I started the month, by our anniversary on the 30th.5 -

Ooops. I could have sworn I posted on W and Thursday, but I sure don't see my name or entry. I was coming in tonight to update for Fri, Sat and today. It's fine, I obviously got off track on my days. I'll keep posting for the rest of the month for accountability and jump back in for May to get in the winner's circle.
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes - a big, full day of gardening.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? I did.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes.4 -
Yes x3. A nice walk with my son, while finally enjoying a wonderful cup of coffee after giving it up for lent. Then a family bike ride in the evening. I pulled my 5 year old in the trailer and set my bike to a high gear. We went up and down a big grassy hill a bunch of times.. my legs are sore! No big feasts today so no problem with calories.
Christ is risen! Happy Easter!4 -
Just returned from a weekend camping trip, no internet so catching up today:
Fri, 4/19 - yes x 3
Sat, 4/20 - no, over on calories (beer and s’mores!!). Pass day # 2 for me.
Sun, 4/21 - yes x 3
Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday weekend!! ☀️4 -
Had a wonderful Easter Sunday with children and grandchildren at the farm.
I ate very sensibly, but I did not track. That makes a Pass Day #2.
I'm okay with that score.

Yes, I exercised (11 mile run which all but killed me. Hoping it was just an off day, and that 10 miles isn’t where I max out, since I’m running my first half marathon in less than 2 weeks!)
Yes, tracked every single jelly bean.
Yes, ate below my calorie target (not hard with a 2 hour run)3 -
I should've checked in here yesterday just before bed, I would have been able to say 3 X yes. I was close to being over calorie budget so went for an after dinner walk to earn a few spares and account for the apple I'd eaten after dinner. When I went to bed I was 15 calories under budget, yay! My Garmin has just sync'ed, I've been back to check and he sodding thing has stolen those 15 spare calories and another 8 on top, putting me 8 calories over budget for yesterday! I am so bloody annoyed with it, I must have slept deeper and not wriggled enough in my sleep!
So 2 X yes and 1 X no for yesterday. I'm gonna hit double figures with these pass days by the end of he month!3 -
