Sunday was lunch with family for Easter. Good day, but started feeling a little run down in the afternoon. Managed to get home before tonsillitis wiped me out again (plan was to do bodyweight that evening as no time to walk). Seems I had been over-doing it and too early a return from last week.
Today, not much desire for food, but ate anyway to keep strength up. So much I wanted to do on my first real free day (public holiday here - no family commitments), but to no avail. Best I could do is watch TV and rest to try recover as soon as possible.
Work tomorrow (if I am up to it), but if tonight is like last night (up every few hours), then likely to call in ill and make a doctors appointment to get some antibiotics (all indications that my sinuses are fighting infection).
Daughter starts back at school for term 2 tomorrow. She does well with school work (very bright), but is struggling socially and mentally due to the ASD. So her being back at school does put added tension on the household.7 -

Yes x 3. A beautiful walk in the woods with the bluebells looking just amazing! And I managed another short swim. Didn't push myself as hard this time and my bump seemed happier for it.5

I have been irregular because I have an exam at work I am preparing for. It's time consuming and time dependent.
But, wow O, it is so good to partially take a break and pop in.
I have managed to read some of this month's NSVs. They all so motivating. Thank you Maddie for the write-up on your success. That was very motivational.

I am definitely out of the winner's circle for this month. But once I finish my exams I will be fully back.6 -

@craigo3154 do take care of yourself. I can somewhat understand the added stress resulting from your daughter's return to school for term 2. We watch our son and family struggle with their oldest child who was one of the youngest ever to be diagnosed bi-polar at the very tender age of 6 years.
Exercise? Yes, over 1 hour walk with the dog in beautiful weather today without rain! She's resting with DH, now. Tomorrow is supposed to be another nice day. Two consecutive days of nice weather in western NY is a rarity!

Had a great day visiting with my mom, running errands, and going to see friends. Beautifully sunny day that got up to 20C! (We know that won’t last, but it was a beautiful vision of what is to come.)5 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes. Recumbent bike, 15 minutes plus Core Cardio Drills 45 minutes, plus mini-trampoline 5 minutes, plus several sets of walking outside ....
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes. Very much so!
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes - and still had almost 300 exercise calories left ove once everything was in!

I had a very good day today. In the evening, Rose and I, went to a 7th grade choir concert which included one of our granddaughters. Like our children did, the grandchildren grow up fast. It is such a privilege to be a grandparent.
Calories: very nice margin under today
