    Good morning BBB friends.

Have to take DW to an early appointment at the hospital, this morning. Nothing critical, just annoying scheduling, right in the middle of rush-hour traffic, so we have to leave a half hour earlier than we would otherwise.

Kelly, have you never heard of the expression "Don't teach your grandma how to suck eggs"? That's what they are talking about. Use a pin to poke small holes in opposite ends of an egg, then blow. You let the shell dry out and you have a somewhat fragile base for egg art. Doing this was common before colored plastic egg shapes became common.

    Mornin' BBB.

Youtube Kelly. I remember my mom and sisters doing this when I was wee.

Dennis, too soon to know results of mammagram?

Just finished digging holes for DW's new rose bushes. Tess helped.

    BBB OP ;-)

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Yeh, apparently we won't know the results of the mammogram for a week. This gives you time to worry even if there isn't a problem. I am trying to teach myself not to worry about the what ifs but...
    • Good session with my Emmaus reunion group this morning.
    • I think I am about 95% back to normal.
    • I can picture Tess helping. :D
    • It is a beautiful day in GA. I should get out an enjoy it.

    Good news, Bob!

Actually, funny story about Tess helping. She left me at one point to go back wildly at something. I thought nothin g of it since the foxes are all over the place. Neighbor later messaged me that it was a bigazz boar black bear cruising through the neighborhood. Sent me a photo.

    Yo!

Late check in - super busy busy day.

Lisa - that is a sweet car Jim got! LOVE the deep green!

Yikes - glad Tess didn't think to go toe to toe with Yogi!

Caps lost game last night. Ugh! Game 7 in DC tomorrow. Got tickets to go - but have a County Board meeting that is more important. Ugh.

    Good Morning

    That's a bear! A big azzbear!

Kelly, looks like they used something bigger than a pin to poke thru the shell, since then they ran a standard art felt pipe cleaner thru it and coiled that on both ends to cover the holes. You can see that if you enlarge the photo I posted.... I also read once after you blow out the egg from the shell, you should rinse in bleach water to clean the inside of the shell well. Then rinse good with water again, and let dry before painting. Im going to try to do some maybe next winter and see what happens.

Sending positive vibes to DW Dennis!

I got everything packed and waiting at the door to load the truck and head to the lake Friday for Glamper opening weekend. SO is teasing me that its only Monday night and I'm all ready to go!!!! ha, you betcha!

Lou, I'm sorry. That has to be really hard, literally Im sure. ;) Yikes. Glad my morning coffee works for me, like clock work!

It poured rain last night and this morning the lawn is greening up! The trees barely are starting to bud, and the tulips are barely peeking up at about 2-3 inches. The 2 lilac shrubs we planted last Mother's Day in honor of our Moms look to have survived their first winter, thank goodness! I was worried !

I weigh in with the Dr. next Monday, oh boy. Though I have some good results if I don't blow it glamping this weekend, sigh. We will walk, walk, walk at the lake and eat mostly at the glamp site and not go out for every meal. That should help. I blew it this weekend though and the scale showed me at even to last week. Amazing that I didn't even do that bad choice wise and still no loss shows! errrrr. I can literally put on the weight in a couple of days, it takes me a couple of weeks to lose.

You all have a good day and feel better, get good test results, enjoy the beaches, gardening, mountains, etc.

    Good Afternoon,
Had to monitor 14 and 15 year old kids in sex education class today
    Tomorrow art classes
86 this afternoon it's too hot too early in year.
All is green here and many spring flowers are gone
    Like Jim's new wheels
Hope Tess knows not to go after something bigger than her,
Early appointments hopefully allow balance of day to get things done
    Enjoy the Day,

    Late check in

Lee thanks for the you tube. I’ll try it sometime.

I’m TOO DAGGONE BUSY. Phone ringing all the time and I’m exhausted. Yesterday I had over15 k steps at 4 pm. Left phone inside rest of the night. My legs ache. Today not much different. Busy. Better than waiting on the phone to ring.

Sam,sex Ed had to be funny. Did YOU learn anything??

Lee, glad Tess didn’t tangle with the bear. Wow. I’ve NEVER seen a wild animal bigger than me other than
    A zoo.

    Later.
