What/Who do you appreciate today?
I appreciate my wife, Rose. We dated for 2.5 years in college. We have been married for 46 years...although she says that it feels longer to her. We share 4 adult children and 4 grandchildren. We are still best friends.

My husband. Dated 1.5 years & married *almost* 40 years! He’s a remarkable person, makes me laugh all the time, loved (and supported me) in sickness & now in health, and kind, so kind & loving.💕💕💕

Congratulations, @RangerRickL and @MadisonMolly2017, on such long, happy marriages. It's a blessing, for sure! My husband has been my rock, my biggest cheerleader, and my best friend for 35 years. We celebrate 34 years of marriage in August.
I'm glad you posted that meme. I went to bed last night feeling so bad because it was the first day since I've started UAC that I had a pass day (stomach pain). I was feeling bad that I had to claim a pass day, but I've come so far that I really can't wallow in that. This group has been amazing at keeping me on track, even on vacation. I don't know where I'd be without all the encouragement from UAC. I absolutely love it here!
Blessings,

Early walk. Light work day but excellent weather. Got some flying in.
First night of daughters school play. Will be going to see it tomorrow night.
The supporters I appreciate most: My wife, my daughter, my family (parents, sister, etc..), my close friends (I have very few of these) and UAC.
Very few people are islands. Most have people they fall back on when times are tough. It is worthwhile to take time to appreciate those that help sustain you.
My wife and I celebrate 30 years marriage next year in February. I was fortunate to find her early (age 19) and wise enough to work together with her to keep the relationship as strong now (if not stronger) than it was over 30 years ago. (I married quite young for this day and age - 21).11 -

Pass day 1/3 (this is for accountability to myself and my records)

Hi there x Pass day number 2. decision made this morning no particular rationale just needed a break maybe x am hoping it's not the beginning of the end. need to plan some of my food tonight ready to pick back up tommorow. I supposed I just wanted the weight to 'drop off' but it doeant does it it's going to be a long haul for sure.
I appreciate my husband too, that I was blessed with a beautiful daughter; that I have my career my home and my health. I appreciate this moment x nice thread I'll come back and read it in full x5 -
Yes x 3 (an extra long walk with the bump and the 3 year old after dropping my car off at the garage because my mum, who I massively appreciate, slept in after kindly offering to drive us back as she'd overdone it helping others yesterday - I knew I shouldn't have accepted her offer!)
Who?
My husband (soul mate, best friend, very lucky we met), daughter (curious, a natural entertainer, reminds me daily how magical life is), Work colleagues (I'm lucky that they're all still inspired by our teaching vocation and they make me laugh daily). Family and friends.
What?
The good luck to have been born in a country with a state health and education system that meant I have been able to train to work in a job I love and earn enough to have a roof over my head, pay my bills, be able to afford healthy food. The NHS looking after me in this pregnancy and knowing there'll be an excellent team to look after us during delivery and after. Being able to stop work next week but knowing that my job will be kept for me for a year. Yep, I'm feeling fortunate and appreciative. Just wish everyone on this little planet had the same opportunities.
As always, I appreciate all of you in the UAC. Especially @RangerRickL for his unstoppable dedication to this special community.6 -
It’s a pass!
Since I don’t eat back exercise calories unless it’s a high intensity cardio burn I’m over on Calories. I’m really ok with this because I’ve been under on calories far too often this month and my food choices were all good today.
One hour strength class and one hour of yoga.
I appreciate my Husband of 2.5 years, we met later in life. It’s a real come from behind victory for both of us.7 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, 40 minutes for a walk outside and 20 minutes low impact aerobics
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes...although food choices not the best. I have to stop making strawberry rhubarb pie. I've made 8 of them in the past 2 weeks. I hate to see good rhubarb go to waste even though I have to buy the strawberries, as they are not in season, locally. Have given most of the pies away...but a single piece of pie wreaks havoc with my daily nutrition plans.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes
Who...would definitely be my boyfriend, beau, feller, DH, Jim a/k/a my dearest husband of 46 years. He has lots of nicknames...his newest being "Poppy" with respect to our newly adopted dog, Annie. Jim and I met at the end of his junior year in veterinary college and continued to date his senior year prior to being married in September 1972. We are blessed to enjoy the company of each other and are most often found walking hand in hand down the sidewalks of our small village. Yep...holding hands is still a GOOD thing, even at our ages!10 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? 60 minutes of strength this morning
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Nope. Fell off the wagon today. But it's OK -- brushing it off and I'll run it off in the morning. Pass Day #3 for the month -- I still plan to be in the Winner's Circle!
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yep
I appreciate my hubby, with whom I'll be celebrating 20 years of marriage this October. He is my rock, my heart, my best friend, my coach and my biggest supporter in everything I do, from running to singing to, well, everything!5 -

@BonnieHosk85 It's a Pass Day for me too. An adult nephew came to visit us and he chose the restaurant and we all enjoyed it with him. It's a special day, not our habit. You have new habits too...don't sweat the rest.
Blessings to you all,

Got a bit behind on logging in. Sometimes life gets in the way
I'm grateful for
#1 The Creator for giving life...not just life but the ability to find joy all around us in people and the creation itself.
#2 My family especially my amazing husband of 30 years. My daughter that is always so endearing to all that come to know her. I've lost my mother, father and my sister , the only sibling I had. I'm so grateful they were a part of my life and grateful for the resurrection to come. Also for the rest of my family.
#3 My friends. I'm so blessed to have people around me that genuinely care about me.
#3 The natural creation around us.
#4 My sweet doggies. How could I leave them out. They make me smile even on those difficult days.5 -

I’m very thankful for my husband and our two boys! I have a few really close friends who I stay in touch with. Mfp peeps I’ve really been able to get to know over the past couple years. It’s so nice to be there for one another to share victories and times when we’re in a slump or have things going on that might not be so pleasant. UAC is great, such really nice, caring and supportive members🤗🌸5 -
Yes x 3.
3 hours fishing. Trailered the boat to and from the lake on each end of it. Alone. May not seem like fishing is exercise, but i used just about every muscle in my body. Ha!4 -

My first unintentional pass day. I feel a little disappointed in myself, but I tracked everything and had the activity. I have no planned pass days for the rest of the month. My first one was planned and it was very easy to not 'cheat' or go over until then. I think I'll plan for my last pass on Memorial day weekend, so that I can keep it up.
Pass days used: 2/35 -
