    Mornin' BBB.

'Tis sad about Rolling Thunder if true.

Kelly, I gave up ladder work a long time ago. Hope you are OK.

Sharing is half the fun of growing stuff. Got the ground prepped, no rototiller for me. Used a good old spade and hand turned the soil adding in some peat moss and compost. Laying fabric and planting starts this morning. Am still looking for some pablanos and giant jalapenos.

Chilling and grilling burgers this afternoon.

    Be safe and remember.

    BBB OP ;-)

    Good Morning BBB.
Remember those that gave the ultimate sacrifice.
    Love that pic Lee.
Kelly - Tom works most weekends. When we lived up north we took Sundays off together unless he had a big job that he had to finish. Down in FL we take Monday as our off day.
Today we are heading to Ft Meyers where Tom is working with a guy that is totally into rat rod trucks. He wants Jack and I to meet the guy, his wife, and kids. We will hang out a bit and then Jack and I will head home and Tom will pinstripe for the rest of the day.
Up north Tom has a well known graphics, sign and pinstriping business but down here he is building a custom pinstriping business so he works wherever and whenever he can.
    Do good out there everyone.

    Good morning.

I'm up early for no darn good reason. Since work is on my mind, I'll probably do that.

Amen Lee. A local cemetery is pushing Pets for Vets to give second chances for dogs and some grizzled war veterans. No travel day for me just peaceful walk in wetlands and such.

    Good morning BBB friends.

Remembering the fallen. A proclamation was signed a few years back, calling on all Americans to pause for a minute at 3 o'clock, local time, in silent remembrance. Just saying.

Memorial Day is special for me in another way. It was Memorial Day 1983 that I took my last drink, letting go and letting God guide my path. Most good things in my life - and there are many great things in my life - have come since that day.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference.

Happy Memorial Day, remembering those that have given their all to this country and it's people. Hugs to their families.

    Congrats Dave on your sobriety.

What kind of mattress Kelly? We too are soon in market.

May pack up camp soon and head home. I'm off yet tomorrow to plant flowers .

Hope air mattresses are part of your tent setup Steph.

    Have a great day everyone!

Road by pool, can't stir them with a stick
If going to pool try and get there by 9 a.m. and gone by 11 mainly to stay away from blistering skin
Kids here Sat. and Sun. today just me and DW; will go pickup DMIL either Tuesday or Wednesday; wish we could skip has been so nice.
I like Sterns & Foster mattress sets
Sounds as too much taking place for a holiday

David, THANK YOU for staying sober and encouraging me! You are proof that it can be done!
Kelly, have fun breaking that new mattress in! Don't hurt yourself again.
Sam, wow! That's hot! It's supposed to be 73 here today.
It sounds like you had a really great day yesterday, Mary! How fun!
Lee, feel free to share with me. You'll have to drop it off here, of course. But I'll let you stay for dinner when you do!
I hope your schoolwork is fast and painless, Skip.
Enjoy your peaceful walk, Bob. How have you been feeling lately?

Let's see ... it's been a productive weekend. We've gotten several projects done around the house, plus had a nice date night and went to the Memorial Day parade this morning. (I posted pictures on fb as proof that I really do live in Mayberry.) Last night Jim played the full drum kit for the first time, and he did GREAT! The music overall, in my opinion, went REALLY well! I was so proud of him! And he enjoyed himself, too, so hopefully he'll do it again when we need him. He bought himself a new electronic drum kit and me a new electric piano Friday night, so we've been practicing together a lot. I feel sorry for our neighbors!

Thank you to the brave who've fallen and the brave who loved them.

Love the K-9 Memorial and my friend Jack with the flag. We had a great ceremony here. I lead the honor guard and gave a presentation on the proper care and attendance of a fallen hero.

I remembered someone (probabaly you) mentioning the 3pm

Our tent is tiny but yes we have air mattresses. Everything is tiny. Ron can haul it all on the bike if needed. finally last night didn't have to bundle up. Sleeping bag was enough.

Today we spent time Oklahoma City. Mostly went to an art festival. Now relaxing at a hotel. Need to get to Arkansas by nightfall. 3.5 hours unless we stop....which we will.
