Good morning.
Two drinks of bourbon last night and I passed out cold. In a chair. At work. Missed the last train out of Chicago last night - so I slept for a solid 4+ hours that way before I Ubered home. Freaked Cecilia out because my phone was in silent mode so I slept through her calls to find out where the €£¢¥ I was.
On the plus side, I slept better than I have in several days. The down side should be fairly obvious.0 -

Norwich University is having a silent (online) auction - to benefit an alum (Navy Seal) who was KIA in 2001. The monies raised support his foundation for future scholarships.
Of note - I bid on #61 - though it is NOW out of my comfort zone.

Physical therapy appointment this morning, then spending time with Rita, to keep her out of the garden. She works too hard.0 -
Cool front today not expected to hit 100, just 98
DW and DGD gone to get DMIL
Planted what was suppose to be bush butter beans, vines have gone over into tomatoes; will setup poles and string for them; this is too much work in heat.
Squash, peppers and herbs are all that I have been able to gather so far; what beans rabbits did not eat have very pretty vines just no beans.
I vote pool, but I don't have to pay for it and maintain it of course they have so much now that keeps everything regulated and swept, easier to keep. Mostly empty strainers and backwash weekly; but one can get a guy to do that.

Yoga class this afternoon, since school is out wonder if anyone will show up.

Afternoon already! Whew gone a couple days and Im swamped in the office uggghhh..
Did I mention our baby great niece was born Sunday? Ariana Marie. She's a doll! Black hair and lots of it!! And a good friend of theirs and ds2's had their daughter same day, Penelope. Such cute names these days!
So if one pc. of red twizzler is 5 calories, 10 of them are only 50 calories, right?! Get this bag of red licorice away from me!!!! gezzzz, its like crack.
Skip, you need a pool! How else can you have pool parties?!!!
Brace yourself Sam, dmil is in transit! Hope dw has a plan for dmil's next long outing away, seems you both need more breaks!

Currently en route to Kansas City. Glad the storms were last night. We are staying in the plaza area so walking to dinner. Wouldn't have been near as nice in the rain.0
