    Mornin' BBB.

Knee Doc says xrays (MRI not necessary) weren't encouraging and I got two options: schedule replacement asap or see if we can calm knee down with cortisone and hyaluronic acid injection and do replacement later. Hmm, lemme think about that (for like half a second). Lets see if we can do replacement like last one in January when I don't have to go fishing or take care of my lawn/garden and my practice is less busy.

So he gave me a cortisone shot-had some lidocaine in it too so got some immediate relief. Already feels better today. Fingers crossed. Hopefully whatever is floating around in there will settle into a spot and stay there once inflammation is down.

Hoping Tom continues to feel better and they'll let him eat something today. Prayers continue for him and you, Raine.

Praying for you too, Lisa. Hope your palpitations are just caffeine driven and anemia resolves with more naps.

    Good Morning BBB.
They switched Tom to clear liquids yesterday and shut off the nasal tube. Not removing it until they are very sure he doesn't need it since installation is torture. I'll know more when I get there which is normally about 9:30 (after traffic). I bring my computer and work at his bedside where staff has set up a chair and table for me - nurses and staff are great. Jack lays by his bed. Every 90 minutes we take a couple laps around the unit. Walking is the key to healing.
Lee - that knee update sounds like it was exactly what you expected. Fingers crossed it miraculously resolves or you are able to wait until January for the knee job.
Mary - sounds like you have a plan for your eyes with close monitoring and knowledge.
Lisa - fingers crossed that anemia is the diagnosis. You got this!
David - that pic of you and Rita is glowing with love. Again, Happy Anniversary ❤️❤️
    Do good out there everyone.

    Morning, Gang~

    TGIF!

DOC - hope the shot helps! I'm afraid I'm out of shots with my left foot and likely looking at another bone surgery in the fall.....

Glad to hear some progress with Tom (slow and steady).... I am sure Jack is stealing the show!

Lisa - PLEASE stay in touch with us on diagnosis/tests.....

Another long office day - but neighbors HH tonight at a winery.

    Cheers for a great weekend.

    Good morning.

So, they're giving Tom vodka at the hospital now? Nice.

Hope the knee can hold up to get you through to Winter, Lee.

Mary, I have Graves as well. My eyes bug out at varying levels of creepiness and run dry frequently. Throw in allergy season and I look like Uncle Fester (with hair).

    Good morning BBB friends.

Hang in there Tom and Raine. Praying for more good progress reports.

Hope the injections get you through to the slack season, Lee. As long as you aren't doing any harm to your knee by waiting, it's good to be able to plan for the recovery.

We have the grandkids coming over for the weekend. Plan to take them for a short hike, tomorrow, then make them some of my special mac and cheese.

    Happy Friday

Our flags at both properties are out. I left the glamper flag out from Memorial Day.

We're about an hour away to lakeside HH

I'm going fishing with wax worms and a bobber about 8ft deep for some blue gill.

Lou, does eye doc talk surgery?

    Get well wishes all around!

    Be safe, be well BBB!
