Sounded like fireworks going off right outside my bedroom window until around midnight. Dogs weren't as upset as I was about it.. ha.

Thank you Lord Jesus for bringing me to another Friday! Tonight is pizza and craft beer. Eating at 5. DS1 has a meeting at 6:30 that will last until 8:30.

Very hot and humid yesterday! Had great fun with the engagement proposal. Then with some neighbors and their 6 littles doing a decorated bike parade and cook out.

Guy in the hood had way bigger fireworks then he should've been lighting off in a subdivision. But no cops showed up, so I guess the neighbor next to him didn't care they were right over his roof, yikes.

Working til 3pm then I'm headed to lake with ds2 and co. SO is headed to Michigan with his kids for Red Bud pro motocross race.

Tofay is all about sorting my stuff and repacking. Not much left so don't think it will take too long. Will probably go visit the grandparents this afternoon.

Raining buckets now so dad will probably come home soon. They were going to spray the beams today.

• BBQ yesterday went well. Nobody choked on the burgers or brats I grilled.
• Today is DW birthday. I guess we'll (me and Emma) have to treat her special today.

Chores done. Getting ready to go to work. Tess took her first long walk today on leash since surgery. I let her do a little swim yesterday since so hot.

Professional fireworks show about 2 miles from our house last night. Saw some of the super high detonations, but mostly just heard them.

Got boat out on lake yesterday for a test run...she ran pretty good and all electronics are working. Ready for the salt this weekend. Now gotta check out rods and lines. Found out one of my fly rods the floating line was in pieces. It was hanging in the garage...maybe a mouse got into the reel cover and chewed the line.

More heat and no rain today. Maybe thunderstorms tomorrow.

Luv it Skip. Dennis we too have a golf cart parade in one local course plus a kiddy parade and fun center. Rode bikes w DW to an early yoga class (last of the day for the 4th). Needed that workout.
