Harvesting lots of zucchini and cucumbers. I thought I would be harvesting tomatoes this week but they are slow to start turning.

Great day yesterday training with trainer Geoff and his 14 year old son. Haven't trained with them for at least a year. Saw three of Babe's pups that he had in training. Two males and a female. The black and white male is a real chip off the old block. Saw a lot of Babe in him. The female is a real hard head. Just wants to do her own thing, Geoff's son was handling her and he was just too soft with his commands.
Will train with BTG tomorrow.

Mom and I are going fishing tonight and early tomorrow morning. I have the worms. Did I tell you we cleaned 29 last time? Like fishing in a bucket. Ha.
I on the other hand went to be around 9. Slept like a baby.

Zucchini and cucumbers sound GOOD, Lee! And you're right about the butterflies ... although a psychologist friend of mine believes it was closer to a bit of trauma response from something that happened a couple years back. I tend to agree. But, it did go well, so I'm replacing those memories.

We had Anabelle sleep over last night, because today I take her shopping for school supplies and a few clothes. We LOVE doing this ... it's something Jim's mom did for our kids when she was alive, and it's a way that we honor her memory. She was a 2nd grade schoolteacher, and she LOVED getting the kids prepared for their first day. Anabelle is working on her breakfast now, and we'll be out shopping within an hour.

Feeling very tired, too. But I had to get up for an early doctor's appointment. I'll be setting up our camping equipment in the backyard, after that. We're "camping out" with the grandkids, tonight. Note to self: turn off the irrigation system.1 -

The apartment is looking pretty empty. The guys from the donation place are coming today for the last if the furniture and kitchen stuff. Except for cleaning supplies everything left will go with us in the car or to PR.
I don't even have a chair. I think after I clean the living room and hallway I'll go loungd by the pool for the afternoon. Have a few errands to run too. Coffee pot is going too so if I want coffee I have to cold brew with the camping set is walk to the office.
It's getting real.
I live that you back to school shop with Annabelle. My mom would do that to. Dad just gives them $$$. So much easier for him.0 -
