First WI since starting tracking again. Down 3 lbs. Could just be my normal fluctuation. Looking for a downward trend in the next WI.
Cool overnight. Nice sleeping weather.

Good Morning!
Lee, that is awesome! Keep up the great work!
My health insurance is with United Health Care. They have partnered with a company called Rally. They are offering a free weight loss program. I'm going to try it. It seems like it has features of both the old WW, and Noom. I feel like I'm starting to make better food choices, but I am only starting to see it on the scale. I'm down three pounds from my most recent high. Two days in a row now at 199.9.
I cannot express enough how happy I am that today is Friday! Woot!
Have a great day!0 -
Wow Lee that's great!. Yeah it could be that part of it is that you are not quite so "full of it" so to speak. The trend is our friend for sure!!
Ah yes Steve Friday is our friend!! I too have United Health Care and in addition they would pay for my gym membership too.0 -
Good Morning
Nice job Lee! As annoying as it is tracking does seem to be effective. I am in my 7th week now.
I woke up much too early this morning and finally gave up and got up. Not sure why. I had been sleeping like a log when I was under the weather. Early tutoring sessions this morning, followed by some errands and then, if it is not too warm, a bike ride. Yesterday's walk and exercise went well so I should be good to go for daily workouts again.0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Keep up the tracking and I am sure success will follow, Lee. I should be doing the same.
Yesterday I made an appointment at the VA to get a hearing test. It has been several years since my last. The last time I was tested at the Army hospital, they told me they would recommend hearing aids, but that I wasn't quite bad enough for the VA to give me devices. I'm hoping (really?) that I have crossed that imaginary line and can get the free ones. Those things are expensive.0 -
Dave, In the last year, Connie and I have spent just under $10K for hearing aids. Mine was like $3,600 for one, and hers was over $6,500 for two. Insurance covered squat! In addition, the new and improved tax code to help the middle class, has raised the limit so high that we cannot itemize our taxes anymore, and could not even claim them on our taxes. But, we hear better, so although I'll never save enough to retire, we can both hear each other, so it is all good! Let's hope that the VA can hook you up.0

Amen Steve we can't itemize either except for state only. Not sure what hearing aid I might buy except that I want some personal control over the unit and not just something set by the technician.0

Congrats on loss Lee, keep up good work!
Some claim that since I'm retired I have 6 Saturdays and a Sunday, not quite; do 3 yoga classes and work a WW meeting weekly, schools are back in and already trying to get me to sub. again this year. So I fully understand appreciating it being Friday, but so glad I do not have to worry about month-ends any longer.
My supplemental insurance is through Aetna to get my hearing aids replaced I got one in November 2018 and other in March 2019 did not get auto recharging but can be added for about $500.00 which I would have to pay; that will buy lots of batteries and technology would change by time I used that many batteries. Really enjoy aids controlled with phone and tied to TV and phone. Friends at American Legion says VA will provide them, but I can't see having to deal with them we seem to be between three each about 70 miles away.
Hope all have a great weekend,
Enjoy the Day,
Sam
