    Mornin' BBB.

Serious problem at the hunt test site yesterday when we got there. Someone had come in and cut all the fields down so there was no high grassy cover. It is a state property specifically designated for dog training and field trials and it is used by other dog training groups other than our spaniel club and the retriever people like the grass cut short so the dogs are visible to the judges and can make a straight line on a long retrieve. Our club has long been at odds with the retriever folks because short cut fields are basically useless to us. We are pretty sure this was an act of deliberate sabotage. We are screwed for next weekend's scheduled field trial. If we can't find a suitable replacement site we'll have to cancel the trial.

We made do with the hunt test but it wasn't pretty and there was much griping. But no way we can run a good trial.

Babe's pups were amazing. I was extremely proud. Will try and get photos today.

Lisa, that sounds scary. Please talk to a doctor.

Hurrah! Freedom! Now that cast is off you can drive to S'bux. How was dinner?

Glad you got to go to game anyway, Dennis. Also glad Kris is feeling better. Awesome you are hoteling with Emma.

Hope DS#1 is better today, Kel.

Wow, Dave. Bizarre shenanigans on behalf of Home Cheapo.

    BBB OP ;-)

    Morning~

Thats crappy, Doc! Definitely sounds saboteurial!

Dinner out last night was enjoyable (despite wearing Crocs to a high-end restaurant).

Off to watch our local LL team in their advance game for LLWS! The whole community is going bananas!

    Cheers,

    Good morning BBB crew.

Had a good time down in Oregon, yesterday, visiting with family. Best of all, DS drove. So restful to just be a passenger.

    Morning BBB

Hope you find a replacement field soon and glad you got to see the pups again

We number around central Idaho yesterday and found a private hot springs with only us and one family. Had an amazing camp site across from a raging river.

    Good Day,
    Church and Sunday school done
Thinking I'll fix veggies from garden this afternoon and a beer but chicken,
DMIL decided last night she did not want a drink, instead ordered coffee; did not have to help her out of restaurant and into house; maybe she saw herself. Like Friday night when I had to go downstairs and turn her radio off because she had it so loud walls were vibrating and she didn't know it was own.
Lee, is park large enough that each club could have a designated area and switch every season,
Steph, hope all works out with you getting to work into September as you planned.
    Great picture Skip,
Kelly, hope DS is beginning to feel better; be sure to take several chipmunk pictures to embarrass him with later.
Lisa, agree need to have doctor check
    Hope Kris is feeling better,
    Temps continue HOT HOT HOT
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam

I'm home sweet home! Caught up on some rest. I was emotionally and physically spent after the packing, last goodbyes with friends, and a myself, then I was hit with a 9 hour delay to get home yesterday ugggh. Thanks United Airlines, not.

Ds1 just texted though. He's at his hotel in Denton TX! So it begins, his new chapter!

    Lisa, time for a physical?

Lee hope you can find a suitable trial site.

Skip, Happy Birthday week to DW!

Sounds like house progress in Florida!

How frustrating, Lee! It sounds like the breeds need to use separate grounds for trials.
Skip, I'm cringing at the Crocs thing ... but I am certain that if anyone could pull 'em off, YOU could!

I've been fine ever since Friday. So weird! I did have a complete blood workup a couple months ago when I was having those heart palpitations, and everything was perfect.

I have a singer coming over tonight to work on music for next Sunday night. We're doing a special service that will be all music, to tell a story of working through the 12 steps with God. I'm really looking forward to it! I've been transposing and preparing now for weeks. This will be kind of a precursor to the regular service starting up again after Labor Day.

    Good afternoon BBB friends.
. Home safe and sound after a weekend of great baseball.
. I'm sure Skip was wearing his dress Crocs. Sometimes ya just gotta do what ya gotta do.
. I have this vision of hearing a news story about Connecticut Canine Turf Wars.
. Borrowed the audiobook The Art of Racing in the Rain from the library. Great story and made for a pleasant road trip.
. Take care of yourself Lisa.

    Hey
    Reilly is doing better.
Lost 1.25 for the week on the weigh in. Still going down.
Easy day tomorrow. Lots of laundry and cleaning needs done here.
