Good day with Annie ... we are starting to figure out passage! Then spent a couple of hours painting wood trim on back of the house. A couple of touch ups tomorrow and it should look pretty good. Goal is to do the front before the end of Sept.
Good day food wise today as well ... got a decent night's sleep, which is a major help when it comes to staying on plan. Getting a handle on sleep issues is the other big goal for Sept.10 -

. We had an absolutely horrendous spring with nothing but rain and mud...but the summer has been glorious. If only we could have our summer weather 10 months of the year instead of 2. 8 -

@w8goal4life Our spring and June weather was so rainy and ground surface so saturated that the first time that I rode a horse was the July 4th weekend. I'm trying to enjoy each and every moment of good weather that we get.

It was a beautiful weekend here.
Today, we had two of our 4 grand children here at the farm. As the outdoor kid-helper, I had lots of activity.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Ran my 10 mile race this morning and I CRUSHED it! I had a goal of finishing in 2:10:00 and I crossed the finish line at 1:59:19! Yaaaayyy!!!! I am very proud of myself!
Ending the day with almost 30K steps.

@RangerRickL We're actually experiencing some rather cool weather in Northern California, which is awesome. Normally we're in the high 80s/low 90s now and it will still be warm until about Halloween. We don't get really cool until end of October/beginning of November. I personally can't wait for some cooler weather -- summers here are in the high 90s/low 100s, so it's time for a break!14 -

Yes @RangerRickL, I could 'smell' the Autumn this morning and wish I had worn my hat first thing! The sunlight is more golden here now, soo pretty & the dahlias look like jewels in the sun, so beautiful
