    Good morning, folks.

We saw everything in Barcelona yesterday, so today is a free day. I'm drinking coffee and letting Cecilia sleep in.

    Mornin' BBB.

Wow. Just wow, Lou. Thank you for sharing your trip. Your photos are truly inspirational. Barcelona is just beautiful.

Yep, its a day with my girls, BTG, and me scatter gun.

Very good point about geriatrics being nervous about getting in and out of shower/bathtub, Kelly. Somehow, I would have to believe that Sam has made sure it's safe.

Biopsy on neighbor's dog came back benign. Happy owner and pup should do just fine sans spleen.

Sorry about your misadventure with refrigerator, Dave. I empathize with your frustration.

    Good morning.

Yes Lou thank you for the pictures. Very beautiful place.

Today is a full on beach day. Yesterday was some beach but mostly outlet shopping. Nice not to fly and have a big trunk. Ha.

Seems like the dogs are doing fine at the kennel. I’ve been exercising each morning and watching what I eat. Hoping not to gain too much weight on vacation
    Have s great day.

    Morning -
Long day yesterday - recovering from double header day prior. Excited for last nights win and hoping for home field advantage on Tuesday's Wild Card game.

AWESOME photo's, Lou. How long you in B'lona?

    GREAT benign news, Lee.

Raine - hows things? We're all looking for a pictorial update

SGM - that sucks - no two ways. I have zero tolerance for that nonsense.

    Cheers!

    Morning BBB

Barcelona is lovely. I love old architecture.

Rained off and on all day yesterday. Our am walk felt like 110% humidity. Afternoon walk in the beach was much better.

Looks like sunny today so I'll probably do some laundry. Machines are outside and I hang dry the clothes. We have an electricity budget and I would rather run the AC than the dryer.

    Enjoy your beach day Kelly.

Thumbs up, Steph! I'd rather wear dirty clothes and be cool/comfy than clean clothes while sweating!

Wow, Lou! Those pictures are AMAZING! How gorgeous! My nephew and sister have gone there, but they didn't post pics of the things you are.

I'm so glad you're having a great vacation, Kelly! Soak up some rays for me, too!

YAY for your friend's dog, Lee!!!! He must be SO relieved!

As for Dd28, it's like her light came back on in pretty much every way. She's had energy, she's back to doing WW, she's doing things around the house, and she's her normal self. That was just by doubling the med that she was already taking. She has a follow-up call with the doc tomorrow, when they were going to decide if she needed an additional med. My guess is that they say no to that. I'm SO happy that she's doing better!

I have a SUPER busy weekend coming up, which I'm working on preparing now. We have a WW training Saturday all afternoon, which I have to study and be prepared for, and then Saturday night I'm speaking at an AA thing (an hour long talk). Sunday is church, as usual, but I'm guessing that Saturday will both fill my cup and wear me out. I'm looking forward to it all! And to add to it, I start Saturday with an early morning hair appointment and then meeting a friend for a pop before the training. Should be really, really good for me, though!

    Good morning BBB crew.

This is the BBB travel report. I love it. Spain, beach time, Puerto Rico ... Of course, Steph is at least semi-permanent in PR, but she is still in exploration mode.

I always liked the feel of clothes dried on a line, rather than tumbled in a dryer. Used to enjoy playing with my mom's basketful of clothes pins, too.

Mom will be 96 in November and uses a walker to get around the house, yet she insists on taking a shower before bed, every day. Just a defense against blanket statements about geriatrics.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Great news about DD28 Lisa. I know you are relieved.
    • ...and Yay wee Terrier. Great news for you too.
    • Some of those pictures in Barcelona look famaliar Lou. We only had one day ashore there but we did take the $2 tour (yeh right, $2).
    • So Dave, what's the plan for replacing the refridgerator?
    • I hope you enjoy your day on the beach Kelly.
    • Sam, I may need to come see you Saturday morning. I miscalculated the number of Tuesdays in Sept. and I need a WI, Where and when do you meet now?
    • Oh, I played bingo in the 'hood last night and won a gift card to Cafe 44, a local coffee shop / sandwich place.

    Good Morning BBB

    Go Brewers Go!

    Enjoy Kelly!

Great news on the wee little pup, Lee! Enjoy your free day!

Lou, thanks for sharing your views thru your lens, outstanding! Love your tee-shirt btw, I've been exploring the idea, feasibility of such business! Some many ideas in my head, I need to get a plan

Skip, good luck! Wisconsin sports fans are in all their glory, for now anyway. The MKE Brewers, The GB Packers, The MKE Bucks, The Wisc Badgers, all seem to be playing great!

Does it seem like your on a vacation, Steph?

I had a weird puppy dream last night, that I had two black lab pups 10 weeks old, each had a white fur mark on their foreheads, and I kept just saying oh no these are not pure breeds, nope, nope, but they are too cute to be concerned about it.... LOL. How weird. My inner dog ownership needs, I guess, sneaking out.

I thought Sam remodeled dmil's bath and put in a walk in tub/shower/seat, etc? Or maybe that was someone else?

    Enjoy the day BBB !

    Good Afternoon,
    Lou, please keep pictures coming
We live in a 55+ community where all baths are compliant, come to find out DMIL says she was still bathing downstairs where she has stopped up sewer pump; I go check and she has water running out into unfinished part of basement. This morning I go into extra bath which she should be using and see toilet stuffed with paper towels and water not draining, towels laying in floor, she had left to go to senior center. I go downstairs and it was like going back in time when we had teens still living in house, so much trash and junk spread across floor could not see floor. Top of kitchen table down there had junk mail and papers flowing on to floor. Reckon I need to clean up her area like I did the kids, gonna have to borrow a truck to back up to windows.
Most small family owned appliance stores will match big box deals and they deliver good service plus if there is a breakdown they are the ones the big box stores call to do warranty and service calls, they put their customers first.
Great news about DD28, I have training Saturday afternoon also
Dennis, WW Madison Saturday morning start weighing at 8:30, meeting at 9; Madison Fitness Center, 1290 Eatonton Road, Madison 30650 about 1.2 miles North of I-20 on right just past white chicken.
We are not allowed to have clothes lines here, someone even complained about me having rug hung off back deck to dry, HOA did not respond to them.
    Enjoy the Day
