Back from Elmira, NY parent club trial. The English Springer Spaniel Parent Club is the oldest dog trial club in the US. Lots of cool trophies. Non for me or Babe this weekend, but we had fun and learned lots.
Nats went from being up 2-0 in the series to being down 2-3 in the series. "It ain't over till it's over" Yogi 1973

Another epic loss. But its okay. Me Dad and I got to sit and watch together. Funny how two people can sit in a room and say few words and still think "wow! That was a great time together" - baseball unites!

Had a very pleasant weekend, of pumpkin carving, potlucking, and football watching. Ducks won in a squeeker, Seahawks tanked in the second half, but held on to win. Cheers all around.
Rita is in a better mental place than she was a few days ago. I think all the prayers have helped. DDIL is bring DGS over this afternoon. Think we'll walk to the neighborhood playground and just hang out with him for a while.0 -

NASCAR just emailed me my process of obtaining credentials to gain pit/garage restricted access next Sunday at the Dallas AAA Texas 500! Wow what a process, and it isn't over, all this and thats just to get to the credential area check point to get the passes to enter.
Lou, you gotta check out Chicken *kitten* Bingo at Ginny's Little Longhorn Saloon, in "keeping Austin weird", LOL.
Glad Rita is doing okay! Those littles will brighten up her day for sure!
I was selected to see a free screening tomorrow night of a new movie to come out called "Last Christmas". SO shall attend with me!

Good morning BBB Friends.
- Had breakfast with the ROMEOs this morning.
- Just got back from the Vet with Emma. Typical Dachshund back / spinal issues effecting her rear legs. She got gabapentin for the pain, a muscle relaxer and a steroid. The other option is surgery. At her age, with poor vision and no hearing I don't think that is the way to go. We'll see how she reacts to the meds.

Heavy fog this morning, clear and sunny now, upper 70's this afternoon
Rain coming in tomorrow through Halloween reckon it means I'll be stuck with extra large bag of candy; can't give anything to students, but if subbing can leave on teachers desk.
Sleep in day here means we do not set alarm but bodies auto alarm goes off by 7 anyway
