Beautiful pics you have been sharing. Think I'll stay away from the frog, though!

Great photos! I will not be member of the winners circle, though I've had a winning month. Thank you for all you do, Rick!

    Wow, what a day!

I tried out one of the meal plan ideas I came up with last night, trying to keep the carbs as low as possible and the protein as even as possible (it’s actually easier in my particular situation to go over the recommended daily protein amount instead of under).

I did this by having a protein shake for my first breakfast, a packet of tuna for my second breakfast (not a LOTR reference; I wake up at 05:00, so I have 2 small and nutritious breakfasts), a tuna packet in a different flavor from the first for lunch, and a dinner with an average amount of carbs and low protein.

Both breakfasts and lunch went very smoothly, but I think I went overboard, or rather I underdid it, because between lunch and dinner I got so hungry that I had to have two snacks, and they added up to enough carbs that I could have had two helpings of dinner for the same price!

Ah, well. I’m in this for the long-run. Back to the drawing board.

I also did some research and found that sleep consistency has a great impact on digestion and appetite, as well as the more emotional aspects tied to eating such as decreasing depression and increasing focus.

I’m using my first and only pass for the month today because I only walked my dog once around the block for exercise.

Taking a rest day because I was going to sea for 6 hours tomorrow but the weather vetoed that plan. Had a pretty active start to my rest day though with various household chores so I'm counting that as my 20 minutes. Under calories!

Still on track for winners circle, as long as I'm careful tomorrow. Without the trip to sea, I can go to a local carol and food truck event in the evening. Will need to be careful in the day to keep calories for a few treats!

Although I'm still on leave, I need to make time to get to work every couple of days to keep an eye on the stranded seal we were hoping to release tomorrow and I have the stranded phone for a week. It's busy season and the guy who normally keeps the phone is going to a conference in Spain.

Exercise: Yes, 20 minutes walking between various stations and destinations. I missed my Yoga class this morning as I had to go with my partner to his Neurologist's appointment. I'd hoped to do at least 20 minutes walking around Marseille station, on my way to Nice, but the train was delayed by 45 minutes, and I only had 10 minutes to get on the next train.
Calories: Yes, stayed under, had prepared a salmon salad for the journey.
    Tracking: Yes, logged everything.

    Exercise: Y 10K steps
Calories: Y 1835/1800 just over the normal allotment, but covered by the 700 exercise calories.
    Tracked: Y

Shook it up a little tonight and did something I haven’t done in months....instead of walking all my exercise I started off with running the first 1.8 of my 4.25 miles on the treadmill. Felt pretty good..think I’ll try adding more running in.

2 pass days used this month.

Rest day for me! Plus I didn't really track all the leftover nibbling with family in and out all day. It was worth it!
