    Cold and wet, just above freezing. Ugh. Mid winter thaws are messy.

    I am now officially looking for some spicy banana ketchup.

    I have never tried banana ketchup. I might have to look this up.

    The problem with putting off CPE until the end of the year is a giant headache. On top of that, what happens with me, is that I tend to miss the whole point of the annual training, which is to learn something. Instead, I go into an online course, go to the back and print the test questions, then go through the printed material in a giant word search only to answer the questions. 10 hours can be done in 2 or 3, but no real learning takes place. Each year, I resolve to do better, yet it has been this way most of the years that I have been a CMA, which goes back to 1996. I don't really like to sit through a class.

    It is cold in KC this morning. My car said 14 degrees when I was driving in to work.

    Gotcha. brrrr 14° is a bit chilly for sure. I don't like slushy wet snow myself either. A mild for us 50° hi yesterday. Today 40s and rainy. Hoping Dave and Rita are doing ok.
    Off for a Portland Spirit dinner cruise on Wednesday to see the X-mas ships and cruise around with them on the Willamette River.Should be fun.

    Good morning gentlemen.

    Rita's follow-up appointment is tomorrow afternoon. We'll head for the hospital in the morning, to have Xrays done prior to seeing the surgeon.

    Didn't make it to the Italian restaurant, yesterday, but plan to go there for lunch, today.

    Good Morning

    A cool foggy morning today. I have lunch with one of my students and her husband today for some Szechuan instead of our lesson. Despite taking it easy most of the day, I ended having to take some pills and end up in bed after dinner with a pain flare up. Fortunately the Warriors were on radio. But it seems to have eased up a bit in the night. I am hoping to join my wife at a Middle School Choral Concert where one of the kids she watches is performing.

    I always liked seeing those Christmas boat sails.
