Got a little snacky tonight and had to get into the exercise calories. Managed 6 solid exercise days this week despite my back bothering me...feeling somewhat better today though.4 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Walked along Clinton's Ditch for 60 minutes with DH...and then a 30 minute walk in the village with DH & Annie. Mild temps today...but both walks ended in the rain.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes3 -

Goals/Day/Comments: 33 minutes HIIT strength, golf 9 holes walking, 10 minute walk each way to golf course.
I totally forgot I had lats. I am actually starting to see them. Just catch a glimpse if I look quickly. But they are there!e4 -
Yesx3 but pretty lazy day with bare minimum 20 min slow treadmill walk.3

Exercise? Yeah. 20 minutes yoga. Pretty low on steps. Quiet day.
Within my calorie goal? Just barely. Those step and exercise calories sure come in handy; really tough to have a deficit without them. That's probably a good lesson to learn during my maintenance "practice".

Today was supposed to be exercise "on" day.
But I didn't do it.
My funny little boy was due to come over so I vacuumed and cleaned things.
Not that the little guy cares much but I am kind of self conscious for his mom.
That funny little boy. My wife doesn't want me to think of him as "funny little boy."
She wants me to morph that into "fun little boy."
Alright, alright.
But today is bath day for the little guy. He ain't so little any more but he is still a bundle of joy. I let him play in the tub till his heart's content. Then I go to soap him up and get him done. He laughs the whole time. I wish I could record that.
My wife gives him the spa treatment. She puts towels in the dryer so when he gets out, he gets out to warm towels. He laughs and laughs as we dry him off.
He resists getting dressed which is kind of a chore. I get it though. He has to wear them pullup diapers 24/7. He gets regular changing but I think I get why a guy would appreciate a bath and some freedom from all that.
I ate moderately but I didn't really count calories. Not like I went hog wild or anything but I didn't track and I didn't exercise.
A good day. When I spend a day with Buddy I am mesmerized in the afterglow for a day or two. Then I start counting down to his next visit.
Tomorrow is exercise "on" day.5 -
Yes x3. Shovelled the sidewalk from the backyard to the front, down the city sidewalk and 3 neighbour's walks at midday. It kept right on snowing so I did it all again tonite. I love when I get to be productive and helpful while getting in my daily activity!4

Pass day #3 - bad streak - tomorrow will be another hard day, but I will try to get back on track by Monday- I don't think I will make the winners circle this month3 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, a dog walk and walk for myself, about 80 minutes total. We had strange weather today, in the 60s F, when it's usually 30 or 40 F. Great not to wear a coat outside. Now at night it's still warm, but the wind has picked up.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes, a couple hundred under

I told myself I was going to track calories today, and it just didn't happen. However I need to develop the habit of posting in the UAC again, so this is today's post. Since I am joining so late in the month, I think it's only fair for me to be disqualified for this month.
My two cents. I wouldn't worry about joining late. This is a friendly group. It's great to make the winner's circle, but I feel the biggest benefit is just showing up and posting here. It helps me to track my food and exercise. My good habits aren't established yet.5 -

Interesting reading everyone's posts that today seemed to be tough for a lot of folks. Wonder if it's because it's a Saturday or something about January...
Pass for me too. I did a 45+ min walk and 10k steps and tracked but was 48 cal over. Could be worse though4 -
