Pass days can be used due to inadvertently failing to achieve all of our 3 big daily goals OR can be used intentionally. Yesterday was a good example of when some of us intentionally chose to use a pass day so as to enjoy a celebratory social time with friends and family.
Note: each team member is allowed to use up to and including 3 pass days per month. Once you use or “earn” more than 3 pass days in a month, you are strongly encouraged to stick with the UAC but, you will not qualify for this month’s Winner’s Circle.
Many team members achieve outstanding personal results even during a month in which they have more than 3 pass days11 -

Parents introduction night at daughters education class for first term this school year. Great program for my daughter. Our daughter was accepted into a school replacement program for first term where she effectively gets mental health therapy for 3 days a week to teach her how to cope with the stresses of her current mental condition. This is so she can work a plan to get her back into mainstream schooling and life.
My daughter has diagnosed ASD (on the autism spectrum) is showing signs of BPD (borderline personality disorder) and not coping with school (or life in general). Part of the stress and triggers is primary school bullying that was covered up by the school (and by her memories). This situation is putting considerable strain on myself and my wife. We are thankful that she is no longer actively a danger to herself, but she is a handful to deal with.
Mentally for me, today was a bad day. I hope I have a better day tomorrow.16 -

Started the day with my physio exercises and a walk with my friend. Luckily I got it done then because the temperature just kept climbing today. With the humidity we officially had discomfort levels that were considered extreme and sport was a bad idea. My house mate and I ended up at the beachfront for milkshakes so food choices were not ideal, but I kept within my budget. Tomorrow is meant to be worse, so might move into the big freezer for the day.
Of course, our brilliant country needs to save power due to broken infrastructure so we have our power turned off for 2 hours blocks once or twice a day. My poor cat was lying on the floor glaring at the fan because it wasn't cooling him off. My explanation that it was the Dark Lord and not me did not make him feel any better. (If you want to know more, Google load shedding in South Africa).13 -

Did I track? You bet!
Did I stay within calorie goal? Yes. In fact! I’m a few hundred under my 1540. I’m not a huge dinner person, so I pack much into breakfast and lunch, but the cafeteria menu left a lot to be desired today. 😂
Exercise for twenty minutes? Yup! Morning walk-through 32 minutes; oxygen inventory, which I’ve turned into functional training by climbing 7 flights of stairs and moving oxygen cylinders for 56 minutes; and finally 65 minutes playing VR. The Climb, Audica and Dance Central.
I have closed all three rings on my Apple Watch daily for just over two years, so I go hard several days in a row, and go easy for a day or two.
Sorry for the book. 😉8 -

I had a decent day and a Dr appointment with a specialist for the vertigo I've been battling. It's actually been gone for about 10 days but I went to the appointment anyway to see what I could learn. As expected I have the most common form of vertigo called BPPV. They don't know why it happens but they do know what happens. The little crystals in the inner ear move for some unknown reason and create havoc with your balance. Anywhoo, I now have a standing order for PT to have a trained therapist move the crystals around so they don't interfere with the signals to my brain anymore. Also, I learned that I have excellent hearing and am in great shape for an almost 70 year old. I would prefer they would just say I have excellent hearing and am in great shape and not qualify it with my age but I guess I should be grateful to be healthy at any age.
Exercise: Still doing hip PT and a bit of strength training at home when I can't get to the gym...about 30 minutes this morning
Calories: Yes, left about 200 calories unused
Tracked: Yes
Have a great week everyone!12 -
