Yesterday was a swing and a miss with Daytona 500. We'll try again today at 4p.
Busy day today meeting with Pool; Fence; Irrigation contractor(s). Someone coming to kick the tires on the Jeep too. I lowered the price a little but am at absolute lowest threshold. No more negotiating room left.
DBIL and clan have left. Uneventful visit.

Hi everyone! It was a great weekend here! We had our February adventure with Anabelle on Saturday, which we spent at Valent-Ice in Grand Rapids painting an ice rink, getting her face painted, playing in a police car and a fire truck, meeting Elsa and Ana, and checking out the ice scuptures all around town. It kinda goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway ... IT WAS COLD! But we had a really great time.
Then, Saturday night I got a text from our pastor that he was sick, so I ended up preaching last night (as well as doing the music). I've never pulled a message together in less than 24 hours before, and I haven't preached in a couple years, but it turned out ... no one heckled me or anything, so that's something, right?
Next Saturday is Dd23's baby shower, so I'll be working on last minute details for that during this week. On Thursday I'm attending a court date with a young kid who comes to my AA Bible study, too. He's facing up to a year ... he's a truly sweet kid who did something stupid. He's ready to accept whatever happens, and Jim and I will be there to support him.0 -

Cecilia arrived yesterday and I whisked her off to the hip outdoor mall straight from the airport so she could have lunch outside. Thankfully, all the stores close at 6 on Sunday, so there wasn't any time for shopping. 😁
Yesterday was the Austin Marathon, so I caught a couple of snippets from the morning news. Seems like it's pretty well organized. I'm still having trouble getting used to the concept that February is a good time to be outside for any length of time.0 -

- I am trying to learn how to use Garmin Base Camp software. On a motorcycle you don't always want to go straight from point A to B and creating a custom route is not easy. Whoever wrote this program ought to be... no, I'm going to say it.
- I'll modify Dave's comment. In Austin during the summer months Lake Travis is the place to be.

Holiday off cancelled for me... apparently the project I've been invited to bid on in Amsterdam does not give a ratsazz about our US Presidents holiday or Pacific vs CST time so I took one for the team and came in to pull together a big proposal. I'll take off Wed. PTO instead.
Its snow hard here, I'm hoping if I wait a bit traffic homewont be bad. Tax office gave me off, since I was supposedly off day job, that back fired.
I click the landscape icon here Dennis, takes me to my photos, I select it, nothing happens from there.
