thanks for having this - hoping it will help me keep my eye on the prize :)

    My Numbers:

    CW: 301
    GW: 290

I don't have a regular weigh in day - I need to work on that.
I have a problem with the scale - it can be so discouraging. Sometimes I go weeks without weighing, other times I weigh multiple times a day.

Cali, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be kind to yourself and don't do this. It is much better to go weeks at a time between checking weight as long as you are keeping your log and being truthful in the logging. Think about it. There is no healthy way to lose 1800 plus calories in a portion of a day, and eating, drinking, bathroom visits call all cause minute changes in your weight. The possibility of depression from "lack of scale movement" is much greater when checking too much, and can then be an excuse to quit or to throw a day away because "I've screwed up today anyway..." I know where of I speak on this.

Rule 1: Be kind to yourself always. (Being kind does not mean feeding yourself whatever you want whenever you want it. Weightloss is hard. Being fat is hard. Choose your hard.)

    All of what Dan said^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Also, if the scale has you down or nervous, perhaps think about some additional measures? Some folks take body measurements, others note how they feel in their clothes or their skin each day, others note Non-Scale Victories (NSVs), like "I was able to walk up x number of flights of stairs without stopping" or "I didn't feel as tired at the end of the day". There are lots of ways to measure your changes and success that have nothing to do with the number on the scale, but it is important to check-in with the scale as one measure, if for no other reason than to get a sense of general downward trends over time that can help you to know if your way of eating is helpful and a good fit for you. Please keep coming back and asking questions whenever you need support - that's how we do this.

Total WL/G for the month= -6/ actual -2.7 lb (Helping my daughter move between states from the 14th to the 22nd. As we got more fatigued, the eating got more out of hand. After two to three nights sleeping only 5 hours, we were both downing, sugar, caffeine and fatty foods. Honestly, I was surprised I bounced back this well. When I weighed in on the 23rd, I was up almost three pounds. I'll take this loss!) Come on March, I got you!

    Let's get it!!!
