I just got the green light to clear out an area in the workshop for my rack. What racks, barbells, and weights are y'all using?

My husband and I purchased most of our weights off Facebook marketplace and craigslist. $.50/pound is a good used price. However, we did buy our rack online during a black friday sale from Titan. It doesn't go on sale often but keep an eye out. Things we have in our basement gym - rack, Olympic bars (3), landmine (attaches to corner of rack), and lots of weights (4- 45, 2- 35, 4- 25 (2 are bumper plates), 4- 10, 8- 5 and a few 2.5lb). We bought them all used and over time to make it nicer on the budget. I stopped working out after I got pregnant but recently pushed myself to get back into it (my son is 1.5). Good luck!

Sorry, I have been so far off the wagon for a while that I didn’t see a point coming onto the groups. I do 5x5 at home, I’m not sure my rack has a brand name, but it came off of amazon and has safety bars.... was a gift so, so can’t look it up. But it is the full square rack, so can be used for all purposes plus pull ups, etc. the bar and first plates I got were on sale at sears. My bumper plates came off of Amazon, Nothing fancy, but well rated. Doesn’t have to be rogue, or other highly recognized/ high priced stuff to get the job done.

I've got a pretty decent setup now and am very happy with my consistency. I got a Legend 3142 half rack, a full set of weights, Archon upper cable pulley system, made my own lower cable pulley system, have pull-up bands, flat bench, kettlebells, dumbbells, and I have gymnastic rings on the way. I have a road bike on a trainer, too.

I'm well on my way to having a full gym right in my workshop.

I May be a bit jealous now. A cable set up is definately the bit I am still trying to get figured out within my space/budget.

Am pretty happy with the set up - we raise the bars on the squat racks to do bench. I do want to swap it for a power cage though - when money allows.
