TGIF.
The S.S. Happy Hour is on the Horizon and the weekend can begin! Hoping to rent Medway movie and relax tonight....
CT Scan DISC is supposed to be delivered to ATL office today. I doubt I will hear anything today - but hopeful for Monday/Tuesday consult. Ugh. This has been a month of paperwork and testing to get to a "recommendations" phase. Maddening.
Still nothing on Jeep. I had some of my pals at the watering hole talking about a collection to buy it - but they never made it to the halfway point before giving up on that charade.
Cheers,
Skip0 -
Mornin' gents.
Sorry about delay on consult. Very frustrating, I'm sure.
Prayers for Rita today.

Morning men.
Feels-like temp is 1° here, cloudless sky. Catching up on indoor chores this morning, including taking down my Christmas tree finally. It’s starting to shed its needles. All good things must come to an end.
My EKGs so far are all normal. I’ve only gotten momentary palpitations—probably PVCs—so they are gone by the time the EKG starts.
Have to get back on track with eating and tracking food. Have been getting in activity almost every day, need to keep that up.
Maybe Skip could crowd fund a Jeep museum startup or something.

Go fund me.
10 degrees here. Dogs don't seem to mind but my toes got cold in spite of me moving pretty briskly this morning. Warming up with a hot beverage right now.
Good news on EKGs then, Mike? Normal sounds good.

Good Morning!
8 degrees in KC this morning. I'm ready for Spring!
Praying for Rita this morning.
Skip, I hope that you hear on your test results soon! I did my sleep study last night. I hope to hear on that early next week, but they said 7-10 days. Ugh. I agree. The waiting sucks.
Count me in on the crowd funding for the Jeep.
Hoping for a quiet Friday. I'm extra sleepy this morning after being wired up to five leads, a box strapped to my chest, an O2 sensor taped to my index finger, and two tubes in my nose. I did get sleep, but it was restless. Ugh.
Have a great day!0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
We'll leave for the hospital in another hour, or so. Rita didn't get stuck with an oh-dark-thirty report time, this time. Praying everything goes well.
To compound our problems, we have a problem with our car. It should hold up for the drive to the hospital and back. I have an appointment for the shop on Monday.
I was scheduled for a sleep study way back when I first started WW. Before the apointment came around I lost enough weight that the snoring stopped, so I canceled. I can't imagine sleeping very naturally in a strange bed, while wired up.
Another nice day, today. It's been almost a week without rain. This is our longest stretch of good weather since September.0 -
Well some friends got a big chunk of brisket and cooked it in a smoker for maybe 14 hours or more. Weight up this a.m.
•Praying for good results with Rita today! True! Great weather just now.
•Good luck w CT scan Skip.
•Seems they don't freak out over PACs or PVCs as in palpitations. Bugs me a lot to have my double heartbeats etc (premature atrial contractions or PAC for me). A friend of mine got his PVC calmed down by changing blood pressure meds after a lot of insistence.
Hang in there all. Hoping for good tests and procedures.0 -
Good Morning
Praying for an uneventful, peaceful biopsy for Rita and Dave with no car issues!
Praying for the medical establishment to get Skip's scan across the finish line so answers can be found.
I must say this group has introduced me to more medical information.
PT, rescheduled from yesterday, today and housework etc. A bit slow getting this body moving this morning. It is putting up quite a fight. I may be retired, but it sure feels like Friday to me. Drinking regular coffee trying to jump-start things. The things AARP doesn't tell you.0
