Morning~
Up late working; up early working. Headed to WI in another couple hours.
Dinner with DB tonight - though not excited at venue they chose. Ugh.
Long week with COVID. Feels like it might get worse before it gets better.
Poker night w/ neighbors cancelled. Someone in our neighborhood apparently has been confirmed and is in quarantine at hospital. Ugh. Haven't stepped inside a store yet - I'm betting that is a joy joy moment!

Mornin' BBB.
So I hadn't said anything about going down to Ft Rucker to finally see DS#1 graduate from Warrant Officer Candidate School this coming week because I didn't want to jinx it. Got word last night that graduation has been closed to friends and families due to COVID-19 concerns. Ugh. Glad we got insurance on plane tickets. Field trial in New Jersey just got canceled too.
UGH! Skip, hurry up and make this go away please. Eventually this virus will lose it's virulence as it moves through the population. How long that will take is a guess. Until then, it's best to err on the side of caution.
Mary, you running daycare now?

I'm so sorry for all your cancelled plans, Skip and Lee and everyone else. There are military personel quietly getting into place in GR here (although most people are unaware of that). Not sure why they feel that's necessary, but I guess it's good to be prepared.
Something I keep hearing from well-meaning people is to "stop panicking". Unfortunately, some of those people deem anyone doing anything differently as them as a fear-monger. I truly do not have any emotional response to this in terms of fear or anxiety, but I am also taking steps to avoid crowds and hopefully reduce the spread of the virus, as has been recommended. Doing that doesn't equate to fear in my heart ... it equates to responsibility and love. For date night last night, instead of sitting at a restaurant like we usually do, we picked up take out and went to the beach. It was gorgeous! The waves were big and violent, we got to walk for a couple miles, and there were no crowds. It was a great night!
I posted a video on all my WW fb group pages talking about the potential challenges we'll face to staying on plan, and asking for their suggestions for strategies. It's gotten some really amazing responses! People can be brilliant.
On the other side of the coin, I'm quite disappointed that WW hasn't cancelled workshops for next week yet. The members can stay away if they would like, and I'm sure many will, but we staff are being forced into close quarters with many people who may or may not be taking responsible precautions.
Mary, I wish you could be MY nanny! Your day with the kids sounds like SO MUCH FUN!
What did you make for your dinner, Kelly?

We've amended our date night outings too - opting to stay in more and more.

Good morning BBB Friends.
- Congratulations to DS1 Lee. Is he off to flight school next?
- This is not normal times. No reported cases in our county but there is a neighbor in the community who went to Japan after this all started who is actively moving about. He has no concept that he might be a risk.
- I have no problem hunkering down for awhile. I hear our local grocery store is a zoo.
- On a happier note I got the motorcycle cleaned up yesterday and washed the older car. I might just go out and wax it today.
- Stay well my friends.

Good morning BBB crew.
School is out in our state, until at least the end of April. It will be interesting to see how they will make that up. It's a bit more than the typical snow days. DDIL was talking about renting a cabin in the mountains and just skiing away the time - at least as long as the ski area stays open.
We have the grandkids for the weekend, but our weather stinks - 34 degrees and mixed rain and snow. Yuck. There will be a lot of animated TV watched, I fear. I will be in the shop, making piles of shavings.
Way to go, Skip. You inspire me.0 -
Morning BBB.
Our housesit in Golden Colorado is now cancelled. She was going to her son's wedding in Texas and the venue closed.
The Colorado springs one for next week is still a go. At least for now. This one is a mom and two kids going to South Carolina to visit family for two weeks. Husband is deployed. She might even want to extend depending on schools.
We aren't going to worry too much. We can stay with family and I have an aunt that has a lake house she offered us since she lives with her boyfriend most of the time now. We have some friends who sit full time (online friends like you all😜) who are stranded in California without their car. Most of their sits for the spring and summer see in Europe so they are scrambling. Their kids all all in college so no place to stay.0 -
Forgot tibtsll you...it snowed here yesterday and last night. Only amounted to 3-4 inches but first snow we gave seen in a long time. 😀0

Steph. Only one snow for the year. I think that’s all we’ve seen this year in IN.
I love the date night Lisa. So romantic
