There are just a couple of days to go in the month of March. It's been a tumultuous month in ways that we have never imagined. I'm glad that you are still posting despite the burdens that you carry.
It's time to ask you, do you expect to be in the Winner's Circle? If so, since the UAC is a self-reporting program, I need you to tell me/us. Do you expect to have 3 or fewer Pass Days this month?
I'm running on 2 Pass Days right now.

@RangerRickL - Thank you for the shout out!
@juliemouse83 - Will your company consider tele-counseling? The company I work for has generously offered 5 free sessions for anyone in need of it.2 -
Today's Gratefulness List
- I am grateful for another day of life.
- I am grateful for the technology that has allowed us to keep informed, in touch, and entertained during this challenging time.
- I am grateful for my court yard. It is just large enough to be easily maintained, yet large enough to provide a space for a very early morning walk. It is also a place where I can get my hands in the soil which has always been a source of contentment for me.
- I am grateful I was finally able to find TP!!
- I am grateful for the relationship with my brother, however strained. We had a good call yesterday remembering our parents, our early lives, and how being welfare kids assisted us in knowing how to live without.
Background: My relationship with my brother has always been one fraught with being polar opposites of decisions on the lines of right and wrong. He has survived by taking advantage of people while I have survived by working for and towards the things I need and want. Over the course of our lives we have started and stopped our relationship for numerous reasons the primary one neither has learned to agree to disagree and judgement of each other's decisions. Since both of our parents have passed we have begun to learn to walk the fine line of not hitting on the sore points and trying to establish a balance that works for both of us. Our relationship will never be idyllic which I do believe we both realize. Yet, I do feel it is cathartic for us to be able to share our upbringing and to connect when we are able to do so in a positive manner.7 -
No WC for me this month. It's all good. I am working through the last few pounds of my goal. The past two months I have been maintaining which I find is a better lesson than those last pesky pounds. They will come off when I am ready.4

March 28
Exercised: Yes (7.5 km walk in 65 mins - hills)
Tracked: Yes
Budget: Yes
Challenging walk again. More people out today.
Daughter is doing OK in respite. Long conversation with her this evening, working out plan for beyond care.
Got to play Mario Kart wii with friends this evening. Set up a network connection and each could play in their own home. Required some fancy game console hacking, but I am no stranger to IT security. Had not done that for years.
@RangerRickL. Not in circle this month. Medication failure rendered me unable to exercise till March 9. Zero pass days since then.7 -

I am also running on 2 Passes Used (both within the first week of the month). So mark me down as VERY LIKELY.
I can't foresee any likely reason why I wouldn't be in the Winners Circle by this point.2 -

Daily post
For dates: 3/25, 3/26, 3/27. 3/28:
Yes 4x for calories count, kept track of foods and drinks and exercised for all three days
I posted three days and I forgot to count today. I don't know if I will be in the winners circle because I didn't exercise on Sundays for this month 🤔🙄 ...so I basically used my 3 passes plus more for all the Sundays of March. 😮😥
Next month will be better...👍🏼🏋️♂️🏋️♀️🤸♂️🤸♀️🧘♂️🧘♀️🚶♀️🏃♂️🏃♀️🎖🏆🏅🥇5 -

For posts like this, I always wish MFP would let me pick MORE than one response icon. I already clicked "hug" above but wanted to also click "an inspiring insight" at the same time.6 -
I am putting a "How DO you manage to grow your garden?!?" query in the What's On Your Mind thread, because we want to grow a bit of a vegetable patch this year, but every time that we try all we manage is "buffet for local suburban small furry creatures" and NEVER get to harvest anything for ourselves.
I will be needing additional guidance on this through April (and May, and June, and ... ) but am currently looking for "best way to protect seeds-to-sprouts" that can carry over to "protect sprouts as they grow and produce" so that DH and I can make a list of what to get at the local "DIY Lawn&Garden Department" nearest us.3 -
Yes x 3.
Winner's what? No chance. I'm out.
@BMcC9 good luck with your green fingers. Depends on your climate. I'm starting a lot of my seeds indoors in sunlight and then move them outside when theyve grown a bit. You're meant to just transfer the ones that are growing best but I always feel too guilty and plant them all out. A soppy soul!3 -

No WC for me this month.4 -
@SuziQ113 , I’m not sure, but it is definitely worth looking into. We have free tele-health for medical related issues, but will check on counseling. We also have an outstanding EAP, which includes counseling visits. Never thought about doing that remotely. Brilliant! Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
@RangerRickL , I believe I will be in the WC this month, as I’ve not used a single pass thus far, which is a little bit miraculous. I’m generally not known for my willpower around all the foods, but I think I have a handle on it. The stress keeps my appetite at bay, hit some kind of plateau, and figure being stressed out isn’t helping. 😂
Today I am grateful for a whole day off, the only one I get for a bit. It was lovely outside today, in spite of all the pollen floating around. 🤧🤭 I’m also really grateful for everything blooming in eastern N.C. springtime is my favorite time of year, and the ride to the closest Food Lion was about a 15 minute drive. (Not going near the Walmart up the road; place was a zoo by the look of the parking lot.)
I tripped over one of my dogs (the little one is almost always somewhere around my ankles) the other day and went face first into the deck railing, cutting the bridge of my nose, and giving me a couple of decent shiners around the eyes. 🤦🏼♀️ I haven’t attempted to put my VR headset on, so I used my grocery expedition as my exercise for today. I named the workout, “Grocery Mayhem, Pandemic Edition,” hoping I’ll look back at this time in my life and smile, knowing I kept going even when sometimes I didn’t feel like it. As an aside, the pooch that tripped me up last is the same one that got underfoot while I was wearing high heels six years ago. That fall resulted in a broken ankle and lots of flat shoes for years. 🤷♀️
So yes, almost an hour dodging others for distancing, zigging and zagging and hoisting all the foods.
Logged everything.
A hundred calories under max. Haven’t eaten an exercise calorie in almost two months!
I’m loving reading about everyone’s adventures in our new normal! Hang in there, y’all! We’ve got each other’s backs! ❣️❣️❣️❣️💐💐💐5 -
Julie - where in NC are you located? I'm in Newton (further west). Are you ready for the stay at home Monday? Heal fast
Exercise? Yes - did Gift of Yoga DVD
Log? Yes
Under calories? Yes, not by much, but still under. I don't add in my exercise calories. Then again, yoga doesn't burn a whole lot. Did spend most of the day outside starting to get our pool ready (also so I can exercise in the water. I really miss my water aerobics class), some steps there.
