RangerRickL on a ridge line in Phoenix, Arizona. The popular trails in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve may be closed since they are packed with people. Rose & I walk only 2 blocks from our condominium and walk in a little used area of the desert. No problem with physical distancing in this area11 -
Yesterday, many of you posted that you have less than 4 Pass Days and expect to become qualified for the much coveted and seldom achieved UAC Winner’s Circle.
For those who have not yet posted if you are in or out, please tell us in your post today.
Thanks

Spring in the desert7 -
Another restless night. I think my body is still adjusting to life without all of the running around, commutes, going hither and thither, etc. I was up at 1:30 tossing and turning. I ventured down to the kitchen, caught up with posts, finally went back upstairs and laid in bed where I may have slept an additional 30 minutes or so. I see a long nap in my near future.
So many things to be grateful for today and every day. Here are a few running through my mind.- I am grateful to have awakened to live and enjoy another fine day.
- I am grateful to have a healthy selection of foods in my pantry and refrigerator.
- I am grateful I am creative and have the ability to turn those foods in to gourmet meals or just down home cooking, if wanted.
- I am grateful to know what does not kill me will make me stronger.
- I am grateful I have the ability to entertain myself.
- I am grateful I heard from a close, recent friend and to hear she left her emotionally abusive husband.
Hugs to all and prayers for those in need.5 -

It WORKED! It WORKED!!!!!!
Just got off a "Google Hang-Out" video chat with a friend who craves face-time visits as a "social interaction norm" but is at-risk and respecting "stay-right-home-if-vulnerable" Public Health directives.
Now we know how to still "get together" - her with her cross-stitch & me with my knitting .... and have regular pseudo-face-time.
Isn't modern technology WONDERFUL ?
(no sarcasm THIS time ... as we all know, in other contexts, that same phrase can also be used semi-sarcastically - like when the network printer connection is acting up .... )7 -

Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes, within allowance
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes5 -
Exercise? Yes. Ended up having to work three hours instead of thirty minutes, so took advantage of that time to get my morning oxygen inventory walk in for 37 minutes. Added bonus of carrying some cylinders from the wrong area to the right one.
Came home from work and fixed a 9x13” pan of lasagna. We had some tonight and froze 5 meals worth. I really need to tweak Nana’s recipe a bit. Not enough sauce, in my opinion. I had a splurge small glass of Cabernet Sauvignon as I was preparing it. I was in my happy place for over an hour. I did not, however, get my car washed.
Log everything? Yes!
Under goal? Yes, though I skipped lunch and snacks because my lasagna is 650+/- calories per serving.
Pass days left? 3️⃣

Finally got an on track day.
First bike ride in six or seven days.
I been kind of out of it.
Lost a couple of pounds during the week.
Hung out with Buddy yesterday.
Ain't no depression allowed in his company.
Sometimes he just laughs. Sometimes he laughs excitedly.
I'll get him to come over again on Tuesday.
I wonder what happened to my profile picture?4 -

Thank you to all who gave me a shout out yesterday! I really appreciate it!
Still waiting for the temp to go down and now I’m curious what COVID result is going to be.
Less muscle aches. Day 5.
Calories were way under. Barely 600 calories today.
No appetite.
Tracked everything.
Walked 30 minutes!
No passes left.
I’m going to limp to the finish line this month.
Have a successful day tomorrow all!

@am_change I've seen that flower around here but have no idea what it really is (and yes, in a creepy way it does resemble the virus)
@nodm I hope you're feeling better this week. Take care of yourself.
@alligatorob I liked that photo you posted of your walk the other day. I was going to post a similar one since I walk through a remote area too, but discovered my new computer doesn't have a CD player, boo hiss. I'll have to figure something else out.
