April Monthly WL Challenge

Greetings all! Well, the world certainly has been thrown for quite the loop since we started our last challenge in March. Lots of things have changed and many of us are living under quarantine or distancing orders, stressed about the health and safety of our families/friends and ourselves, our employment situations, our living situations, and the list goes on. Please know that we have been and are here for each other, and this is a safe place if you need support. I've been here on MFP since 2013 and I can honestly say that in all that time I have only ever received acknowledgment, encouragement, positivity, and love from folks on this board. We are glad you are here; no matter where you are in this world or in your journey, you matter
Despite (or perhaps in response to) the challenges we are facing, the need to make our health and self-care a priority is greater than ever. We all have days (and sometimes weeks or months) when things get out of control, and that's ok; coming back to control what we can at a time like this is what helps us avoid those rough days/weeks/months from turning into years. So please join us and check-in, even if you feel like this isn't going to be your best month and you just want to let us know how you're doing. Getting support is key.
We will get there, and we have got this - together Love, Tara
If you are new and want to join in, by all means, please do - we love to celebrate those losses with you! This is the standard format we try to use for these threads:
Name: (if you'd like to share)
My Numbers:
SW: Starting weight before you lost anything.
CW: Current weight at the beginning of the challenge.
GW: Goal weight for the month (what you would like to weigh at the end of the monthly challenge) Try to keep it realistic and SAFE!
LTGW: Lifetime goal weight ( What you would like to weigh at the end of your weight loss journey)
Weigh-ins: What days you will weigh-in; for example, Fridays
4/3/20 = (Fill out after each weigh-in.)
4/10/20 =
4/17/20 =
4/24/20 =
Total WL/G for the month= total weight lost or gained for the month

Week 1 complete. Always lose a little more on week 1, so I don't anticipate a repeat in terms of numbers. But, trying to stay engaged and open minded.

Well, I don't know how much more I can expect to lose in the next several months. I've been actually really proud and doing very well the last couple of weeks with my nutrition...but I have just found out I'm early on in a pregnancy (5 weeks, 1 day). It's my first pregnancy, so I really don't know what to expect. And, now I'm not sure if I should still use MFP and be active in weight loss groups. But, I do want to continue watching my weight (gain), nutrition, and activity levels. So, it makes sense to continue tracking my food/exercise, right?

Great job, gang!! Some nice losses this month despite everything, and well done to everyone who's kept coming back whether the weeks have been going well or not so much. Coming back here is important, and now we're on to May! I'll go set up our challenge for this month now (apologies for being a couple of days late - work has been crazy
