Morning...
Got cold here. Parking duty at church it was 38º and windy--wore my icefishing clothes and a fur hat, stayed nice and warm. Only a dozen cars or so. Saw some old friends who came, kept large distances. Sunny this morning but a few snow flurries flying around and ice on yesterday's rain puddles.
Car into garage for minor maintenance this morning.
Stay well everyone.0 -
Good Morning!
Well, we received a phone call that we were not exactly expecting yesterday. Dad took another turn for the worst. I got the phone call about 2:30, and at 6:12 last night, he passed. He went peacefully, and now he is out of pain, and no longer confused. He is with mom, and the Lord, so all is well with him. We already have a meeting with the funeral home this morning. There won't be anything but a small graveside right away, and maybe a celebration of life this summer? Thank you all for your kind words and prayer through this journey.
Have a great day!0 -
