Both Passover and Easter are religious holidays focused on overcoming. This is a time in which all the people of the world are dealing with the same non-human-enemy at the same time. We share a common desire and/or prayer to overcome this enemy and support each other.
May you be safe and well at this time!
Rick

Same back to you, @RangerRickL. Tomorrow will be the first Easter that my boys and daughter-in-law haven't been home with us. One lives in Chattanooga and the other in Greenville SC.
Tomorrow will be a rough day and we are expecting horrible storms and our city still hasn't healed from the March 3rd tornado here so I'm on edge about that.
But, in better news, I organized a neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt where the participating neighbors will place Easter goodies either in a basket by the mailbox or scattered around the area for the children to come by and collect. We have about 20 or so homes participating so it should be great. I just hope we have enough children so there is no leftover chocolate!!11 -

3 x yes today. 10 good 1 Pass
During the lockdown I've looked after my kids all day every day and night for 2 weeks. I have loved the time with them and looking forward to spending more time with them when they return home tomorrow. Rather than moping around the house today I decided to get out. In the UK we are allowed to go out for exercise. It was a beautiful spring day. The temperature was up to 27C (81F) with the sun beating down all day. I started walking over the forrest/moreland by where I live and I just kept going. I ended up walking down a canal path for a while and there were a few people down it so I won't be doing that again but the rest of the day I saw barely 1 person an hour. I've now got sunburn and my feet feel like a bus has ran over them but I had a wonderful day13 -

Did a 45 min workout with the app.
My neighbor dropped off some milk cartons that she couldn't use so I tried making rice pudding / arroz con leche a couple days ago. My husband, who is from Peru, loved it, as did I, so I made a double recipe today and will bring to my in-laws tomorrow for Easter. Fun that these restrictions are causing me to learn new things!7 -

@davert123 that sounds like a fantastic adventure
@loopydo2017 It's great that you're baking for a local shelter. The community soup kitchen in my small town has closed because of social distancing. I wonder how the very poor are managing since that soup kitchen helped both the homeless and elderly who live on social security. Thank you for the idea. I'm making a note to try to find out on Monday if I can donate food somewhere.

The blooming plant in the photo is an Ocotillo which is not a true cactus and it branches like a tall bush. Only after the spring rains does it flower and have green branches. Like the one in the photo, it can grow to more than 33 feet or 10 meters.
We saw this one during our 2.5 hour hike today.
Calories: ok

Yes x 3, but it was a damned struggle today. Sitting in one chair with a book because my PPE situation at work sucks balls, while I’m in a four day old mask going into covid positive areas is beyond effed up? Yeah. No. Sorry, not sorry for being stressed.
Got thirty minutes of walking around the house and yard. I’m just done.
On the upside? I lost a pound this week.8 -
