@RangerRickL. I limit my exposure to news to less than an hour a day (and usually just a quick scan of the headlines, then only dig into articles that interest me). I find news is often too sensationalist and designed to sell stories rather than helpfully inform.9 -

Got the 2000 climb I planned on yesterday. So brings my average to 16000/17 = 941.
So 13 days left in the month.
I want to catch up that 1000.
So 1000/13 = 77
So if I add 77 per day... but really my knee only puts up with going out every other day.
So maybe I could add 150 to my climb day amount.
Or maybe one day get ambitious and do 3000.
Ack! Slipping into my numbers obsession.
Maybe put a picture of something to distract myself ...
How about a bear sitting in a patch of Skunk Cabbage?

I'm no botonist (I'm a houseplant killer), but that looks like skunk cabbage to me. It has a yellow lily-ish flower and likes to grow in wetlands.4 -

DC's mayor announced today that we would continue distance learning for the rest of the year. And that school would end three weeks early, May 29 instead of June 19. Not sure what this will mean for us teachers when it comes to contracts and summer schedules. Will hear more in a few days...10 -
