I am so thankful for the UAC. I am the “there’s always tomorrow” type. I tend to gain and lose the same 30-50 pounds every 2 years. I usually don’t try to start losing until spring (about May) and continue through September. I then spend all fall and winter hibernating with comfort foods. Not this year! I joined the UAC in January and am happy to report that I did not gain all of my winter weight. If fact, I am lower now than I’ve been for quite some time. Almost to a normal weight according to BMI charts. I have used 3 pass days this month. If I get another, I won’t make the winner’s circle but I will only have about 4 and not 30. With each month, I get closer to the winner’s circle but more than that, the warmth and encouragement of this group has helped me to consistently eat well, track what I eat and drink, exercise at least 20 minutes a day, and lose weight. I now see why I’ve yo-yo’d so much. I am so happy I found this group.

I have been so busy with work that I didn't post and I know that is not a good excuse..I have to do better..I did exercise and keep track of everything that I ate and drank just didn't record it.

Yes - a 30 minute outdoor stroll with DH plus enough exergame to make my rainbow and bring my step count up, but not add additional fitbit exercise calories (trying to make the switch to less cardio-cals in prep to switching exercise emphasis to core work in May)

yes, yes, yes...Kind of an exercise off day but I am going to count entertaining Buddy as exercise.
It isn't hard cardio but my back tells me it is exercise.

I often try to get him to pick what he wants to eat or what he wants as a general rule.
It is all about signalling. I get him to signal but I got to respond to his signal so that he knows that it works. The most basic level of communication I guess.
I could easily spoil him and I kind of know that I do.
But this is my time of life for it. His as well.
I wish I could go to Colorado. Sometime I go there and get a little bit feral.
But the snow isn't really melted enough yet for what I have in mind.
Maybe by the time the snow melts the restrictions will be off.6 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, walked 90 minutes, plus disinfected the public areas of my workplace for umpteen hours (more than 6 hours) because of the pandemic.
Once again, I'm doing walking meditations the whole time so I have something for myself. For MFP tracking, I cut my calorie burn in half because I believe the numbers from the database are way too high.

Had a giant lunch which put me in negative calories so instead of watching TV I went on a late-afternoon walk and ended up strolling around for 90 minutes. Still in the running for the winner's circle!8 -

I used the extra energy Spring Cleaning pretty much all day long today. I took a few naps and a few breaks. Didn't get all of it done but I got a good chunk done. Tomorrow is another day.
Prayers sent for friends who are sick, in pain, with angst, and struggling for whatever reason.
