Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes: 2 30-minute walks, the second because the power went out in my neighborhood! Darkness indoors, and it was cooler outside than in my house (with the A/C going). There's not a whole lot of insulation here in CA, and it was a summerlike 91-degree day.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? yes, and I had to make some hard choices- the brownie won out over the wine, ha ha!
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? yes10 -

Yes x 3! Yard work. Christal v Poison ivy vines. VERY thick, very well established vines - like from 1938. Break a sweat type yard work. I went on a rampage & cleared out gobs & gobs for my friend. I am blessed to not react to the oils at all. Not even a little. It has been impossible to find anyone that would take care of the landscaping because the poison ivy was just everywhere, all woven into everything! Now, it's gone. I weeded, trimmed, plucked, and watered till my soul was full and my hands were tired. It feels SO good.10

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? I completely burned out my lower legs doing too much repetitive cardio and have had to take it easy (for me), today was the first day I finally felt improvement. I was motivated and kicked butt doing my chair cardio and strength, weights and resistance, and stretching. Planted the rest of the vegetables and herbs as well.

Intentional rest day. I did do a lot of walking around in 2 different pet stores buying necessities for my new kitty.
Should be able to bring him home next week.
I've never been a cat person, but....this little guy fell asleep in my lap, and, well.....!!! lol
They know how to get to you. I'm partial to cats because they are easy to keep. I would love a huge dog but without a big yard so the dog could run and do doggy things I would not feel good having one. You'll have to post a picture.3 -

Oh, no! That counts as exercise and so much more.5 -
day 5
exercise yes
tracking yes
budget yesOn track day.
Been having some insomnia of late.
Causes me to drink 70 80 ml before bedtime.
But hey, that's better than drinking in the early afternoon.
Cut way back on beer. That's a dietary conundrum.
I still wake up way too early. But that works out ok for getting to the trail head before anyone else goes and scares off the wildlife.
Hasn't been much for people on the trail so I get some good solitude.
That'd be one of my life's upticks.
As of day five I got 5,000 of climb. So I am on track to having my thousand per day average.
Goal for this month, get me a Strava merit badge for climb.
Maybe try to improve on last month.
That will be a good trick. Last month was kind of the best I done in a couple of years.
I like these kind of pictures exercise apps give you.
Probably won't obsessively look at them every day.
Or at least I'll claim not to.
Heh, here's to tracing my way up last months exercise plot.6 -
Thought I had posted, but apparently not. Yes 3 times, a good day despite a Cinco de Mayo bbq.6

yes x 3.
Managed almost 3 hours of exercise! I was not flying a desk, and was pushing beds around for the better part of my day.
Logged everything.

Our giant cheese order arrived so we had chicken soup and cheese for dinner used my scale to weigh the cheese
I started using an app to take a weekend Sabbath by using it to shut down most apps (prevent opening the app or notifications showing), including things like news or text messages. I also have it shutting down most apps on my phone from 10 pm to 7:30 am. I have MFP allowed on the weekend shutdown so I can log but disallowed in the overnight shutdown so I won't be distracted by notifications. However that does mean that in nights like last night where I don't log by 10 I need to complete my diary and log in here the next morning. Hopefully that will inspire me to close my diary earlier. I've been enjoying the mental break so far with reduced phone use!6 -

I didn't exercise. Had PMS and two deadlines for learning Hebrew and a writing assignment for a class I take for enrichment (I am out of school - already got my MA!)6 -
Why are you learning Hebrew? Interested.

Sorry. Maybe I missed it, but what exactly qualifies as a “giant cheese order”? And why? I’m earnestly intrigued. It’s just that so many questions popped into my head when I read this. Like, what kind of cheese”? Do I want one (and I probably do because ... cheese!) I LOVE cheese. Though mostly hard cheeses. But I won’t pass up a good Brie with warm brown sugar and walnuts on tasty little crackers. Now I want some cheese.

@readyornot1234 your description at the end sounded so good! By giant I mean around 9 lb total... 3 lb of which was cheddar so I'm with you on the hard cheeses front Also had a pound of blue, 1.5 of Brie and the rest a sampling of other types. We ordered it because we were down to our last thing of cheese and haven't been to the store since March. Definitely enjoying it so far! But using my scale to keep from going crazy with it.1 -
@cjane917 - that does sound lovely.2

Overindulged in my 72 year old mom's belated birthday and Easter treats she lavished on me last Saturday. Tried to give away to friends and neighbors but still too many.1
