14th May
I'm well out of the Winners' Circle, but my aim is to complete this month again. I'm hoping to post a 3 x Yes at the end of today.15 -
YesX three. I had a great workout today and got the best news I could get for right now. I am able to make appointments to go lap swim. I can’t even explain how happy this makes me. There are lots of rules we have to follow but I’ve set myself up for tomorrow and two days next week. I hope everyone’s week is going well!

@RangerRickL Thank you. I consider my life greatly blessed, the minor challenges I had last year are mild compared to what so many people have to face. Looking forward to tomorrow's thread to share my latest round of victories.
Today was a very good day, and I accomplished a bunch of admin stuff that has been piling up. Morning run, evening jiu jitsu and yoga. Good food choices all within budget and the scale was kind this morning. I don't have too much to lose, and am happy for it to drop slowly, but I set 3 goals along the path so I can celebrate often. I am more than halfway to the first goal!!!
I also got 4km in under 30 minutes on my run for the second day in a row. I'll have to find a new, slightly longer route soon as I need to log a 30 minute workout for my reward program.10 -

Triple Yes.
Exercise: Yes, Ok, not a lot, but it was raining a lot and I was waiting for my step son to call. I did a 20 minute brisk walk and some fairly energetic cleaning.
Calories: Yes, stayed under. Not a lot of energy or appetite, so I ate shop bought stuff, but stayed under.
Tracking: Yes, logged everything.
On the whole, not a bad day and I think tomorrow, when the sun comes out again, will be better.11 -

Thank you your kind words. My fur baby is doing better. She is able to walk a little better. But the Dr. Wants her to rest for 2 weeks,no jumping on the furniture or stairs. So I still have to carry her some.6 -

I feel a thought coming on... I didn't say it was inspired...but here it goes! lol
Do you see that twisted trunk of a tree? I feel that's a perfect visual of how 2020 has gone for all of us. We started out going in one direction...but we have twisted...and turned...and adapted...to make the best of this UNIQUE year! I know that it's not been easy...but with perseverance...we will come out on the other side of this changed...and just how we view that change is up to each of us. I would imagine that IF a tree felt pain...that twisting and turning would not exactly be pleasant... However, as we view our own twisting and turning this year, I hope that each person will look at the growth that occurred...and the "pruning" to see positive growth. I also see the realities of the terrible things all around me...mixed in with the good...and know we will not all be so blessed 24/7...and thus...we must help each other as much as possible.

Hello all!
@eadyornot1234 If you have been losing lean mass for over 3 weeks then you might try increasing your calories by100-200 per week until you find the sweet spot. Continue to measure accurately. Personally, I find that if I am too much in the deficit, it's hard to gain LBM. Make sure that the protein intake is good. Also, check that the equipment and measurements are accurate. See what happens. My 2 cents worth.
Yes, x 3 today.

Still trying to adjust my calories slowly so I don’t shock my body and send it into adaptation mode lol!
Have a great day tomorrow5 -
@RangerRickL Thanks for your kind and encouraging comments
@dsgoingtodoit And thanks to you for your photo and wisdom
@stella7x7 Glad to hear your furbaby is doing better
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? My estimate is 480 minutes -- about 300 minutes disinfecting the public areas of my workplace because of the virus, and about 180 minutes slow walking. I try to do walking meditations the whole time so I have something for myself.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes. I'm eating more because of the hellish amount of cleaning and so far haven't gained weight.5 -
