When I first started getting fit, I skipped my workout. Frankly, that might have been the end of another “get fit craze.” But the first student through the door was wearing a shirt with this motto. I took it for a sign. It continues to inspire me.

@prgirl39mfp sorry being a minister I would have to disagree. I rely on Jesus Christ for my salvation.0

@balhoff had no idea you were a minister. I thought we were posting motivational quotes to keep each other motivated not to agree or disagree with each other. You have no idea what my religious believes are. I personally agree with this quote; sometimes we put our salvation, happiness, success on others when we should have that power ourselves.1

An email from James Clear included this quote. I like it! I believe it may be from his book Atomic Habits but am not 100% sure about that.
"Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become.
No single instance will transform your beliefs, but as the votes build up, so does the evidence of your identity.
This is why habits are crucial. They cast repeated votes for being a certain type of person."3 -

Coach Kozach from HasFit often quotes this when the workout is getting especially tough.

From an email I received from James Clear.
"3 things that help habits stick:
1) Repetition. Habits form based on frequency, not time.
2) Stable context. If the context is always changing, so is the behavior. You need a reliable environment.
3) Positive emotions. If it feels good, you'll want to repeat it."3 -
I love James Clear!2

Monday Motivation: People often say, "Three months from now, you'll thank yourself" for being on track today. But guess what? TOMORROW you'll thank yourself. TONIGHT, when you go to bed, you'll thank yourself. The good feelings from being in control/being on track start almost immediately! #BeckDiet4
