Dave, I guess I am confused with the DWD thing. I assumed it was similar to hospice, but it sounds more like your friend is doing something more like assisted suicide? His condition sounds dire and painfully terminal. I pray that he finds relief from his pain and suffering.

Although I'm not a spine surgeon, I agree with your surgeon on what you got going on there Skip. Nerve function can be a tricky thing. It can take weeks for post op swelling to resolve and stop irritating nerve roots. I can't imagine how it must feel though. Praying it gets better soon.

BP is stable. Taking lisinopril 20/hctz 12.5 once a day. Systolic pressures consistently 118 or less. Diastolic is usually 80 ish. The diastolic is a bit high. Will wait to talk to my doc before readjusting dose or frequency.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

    Glad the BP is stable.

    Hope Skip continues to improve.

Had my annual dermatology exam, yesterday, which resulted in two biopsies. One is a probable basal cell carcinoma, the other a suspicious place near where my melanoma was removed 21 years ago. That one, he said, is probably nothing, but he'd rather err on the side of caution. No I wait a week or two for the results.

I need an escape from reality. I'm going for a hike. Planned one in the north Olympics, but the weather forecast it a bit dicey, so I will do one on the east side of the range, instead.

    Good Morning!

Skip, holding you in prayer for healing!

Dave, I hope that you have a great hike today.

I have been running five days a week on the treadmill. I can feel myself starting to respond more. I'm feeling stronger and better. Now if the scale would just realize what I'm trying to do.

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning,
BP sounds better, are you still getting daily exercise? what about allowing stress from business get to you?
Steve, the best exercise for making scale move downward is one I am bad at doing; they are called push backs
Skip, give body time to heal
Bill, hope back and leg is better
Mike and Dave awaiting more pictures of escapades
Going to be another HOT day, hoping for rain later in week

    Morning,
Rough night. Didn't sleep well - this leg won't settle down.
Trekking out for an HOA meeting - first time out and about. Short meeting so we will see how it goes.

    Enjoy the hike today, SGM.

Nope DWD is not hospice but assisted help to the Elysian Fields. My wife's best friend assembled the whole family for one last drink and celebration. Her husband was over 80 and suffering a lot from ALS which came on fairly suddenly.
    Hang in there skip!
Good report on the BP Lee.
Yup Dave leaving soon for my second escape from reality myself today. Ride at dawn and now walk with DW

    Late check in.

Had oil change and tire leak fixed. Went for a walk while they were doing it—old closed state hospital grounds are next to garage, now overgrown meadows and woods, buildings gone. Found a nice pond with maybe some fish hiding in there... Garage owner reminisced about how as a kid he used to push wheel chair patients to chapel on Sundays. He had a guy with no arms and legs he helped every week.

After oil change I sanitized car interior surfaces and then ozone blasted it. Got a tube of test strips to make sure air is cleared afterwards.

Chess game this evening over phone with DS. I finally beat him. Woot!
