Sometimes, it's really important that you read all of the posts that your team mates posted on a previous day. Yesterday's theme was 'What are you grateful for?"
It was an inspiring day, so please go back and read yesterday's posts...you will be glad that you did.
Your friend, Rick10 -
Yes x three. Been spending a lot more time trying to reach my goal of hiking up to ten miles in one day at least once a week. Itโs great but Iโm done by the end of the day and keep forgetting to post and read through everyoneโs comments. Thanks for the reminder @RangerRickL10

Work day so swimming with seals and all the physical activity that my job involves which easily got my 10 000 steps. Evening zoom Jiu Jitsu was skipped today for a small group real live Jiu Jitsu session. Six 5 minute rounds (2 with each of the others in our quartet) and we are all dead but happy! Definitely a great group of people! The aim is twice a week, once in the week after work and once on the weekend.
Not the best food choices and used some exercise calories, but within reason for the day. My housemate and hey boyfriend have decided to go healthy see there should be less temptation from that side for a couple of weeks at least (unless he is a good influence on her).8 -

Today has been a good day. The weather was beautiful for my walk this morning, and then met with friends for a good walk in a new area. My dog loved it, and so did I.
Hoping for a good sleep tonight to wake up early feeling full of energy for my morning run!

I made it with three yesses today, just a slightly damp walk but I got out. I think I missed yesterday's gratitude theme - it'll be good to go back and read them, thanks.9

Today was so much easier than the last two days, maybe because Iโm back to work (though no swimming with seals, just a load of emails!)9 -

I'm posting much earlier than usual. Even though, I'm early for the 9th, I always read earlier day's posts which have appeared overnight.
As I am only working part-time to support our lawyers and law firm team members, I've been doing my indoor strength and stretches before I go out to the horse barn. I worked outside and rode for 2+ hours before lunch.
After lunch, I was working remotely. It's a very new phase of my life, but I am enjoying it.
Tracking: good
Calories: well under my limit11 -

Tracking: Yes
Calories: under
Exercise: Yes, cycling 45 minutes
Pass days to date - 26 -
Yes to all three both yesterday and today.
Iโve been slammed at work both days, and understand that there will be layoffs, so the temporary nature of me pushing patients rather than paperwork is no longer temporary. ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ๐ญ That is all I can share right now, but I am now considering myself active daily, so those calories are being factored into my daily goal total, so I will only be scoring those workouts at one calorie each. Iโve dropped a couple of pounds over the past two weeks, so I must be doing something right.12 -

Calories? Yes
Tracking? Yes7 -
Logged and Under? Yes.
Exercise? Yes, a 39 minute walk and 23 minutes of beginner strength. I did my hand weights outside on the back porch....not because it was cool and breezy out there (just the opposite, in fact), but because I fear I will wear out my area rug if I keep working out in the living room!7 -
Yes x3
We did our first grocery order since March (we had a lot of staples, frozen veggies, and Blue Apron delivery so hadn't run low til now) which was great since it brought in some fresh veggies and fruit. My goal is to start eating fresh fruit most days since I haven't always had much fruit in the past. Today I had bananas on my cereal and strawberries with an alfajor for dessert.
I also tried out new recipes for homemade guac and salsa. The salsa recipe uses canned tomatoes and is easy to make in bulk and is a low-calorie condiment. I think I'm going to try keeping this in the fridge as a savory snack option and just being careful about measuring out the tortilla chips and sticking to that.
Exercise today was a morning 75 minute walk and 25 minute calisthenics.8 -
Yeah x 3! Thank goodness for this challenge as it was one of those days where I would have easily skipped exercise for the couch. But instead, enjoyed weight lifting ๐๐พโโ๏ธ9

So far so good this month. I've been able to keep calories way below my commitment. My activity routine is where it should be with steady improvement. Feels great to be getting back into my good habits...just the way I knew it would. Since it is so tied up with your emotions, willpower and tenacity you have to be all in.
Read everybody's post on what they are grateful for. Thanks for sharing. A grateful heart is a blessing to us personally and others.
