Up at 4 AM for some reason. Had set alarm for 5 to get in habit for cool morning exercise time in summer. Whatever. Supposed to rain on and off today, but have good raingear.

Got slammed in another chess match yesterday. I made several blunders which DS didn’t miss taking advantage of.

Heading to Mt Wachusett to see if trails are crowded or not. It’s a Mecca for area hikers , only “mountain” around here.

    Have a good one.

    Morning,

Mike - thats early! I was awake at 0515 and gave up the fight by 0545....Enjoy the hike!

WOW! Trip to doc yesterday was great! X-rays are showing great progress on the hardware placement.....and he gave me two painful cortisone shots in the cheek and the hip to calm down the sciatica. I feel like a million bucks this morning. Brace for another 3 months is the biggest annoyance.

Pool filled yesterday! Coming along nicely. Electrical work should be completed today. Looking forward to this being completed and getting my yard back to order.

    Mornin' BBB.

Relief from pain is so amazing. Sadly it is how so many become addicted to painkillers.

Super glad you got relief, Skip. Men's Health pool party soon?

Just took BP after two cups of DW's super strong coffee. 110/81. Haven't taken my once a day dose of lisinopril/hctz yet. Felt a little lethargic yesterday at work, so am wondering if I need a even lower dose. Will discuss with primary.

Can't wait to get off prednisone. Could be another 6 months or more. Yeesh.

Two hours of picking rocks out of tilled ground last night really wore me out, and made my hands and wrists sore. Got up around midnight to take some tylenol. So out of shape.

Thunderstorms today. No fun in the sun for me.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good Morning!

Skip, I'm glad the Dr visit went well. I'm sorry that you got a pain in the tail section. I hope the healing continues at a rapid pace. Your new pool looks awesome! So refreshing! Enjoy!

Super busy again today. I keep thinking that it has to slow down somehow, but it evades me right now. Now I'm one of those panic cycles looking for a jump off the merry-go-round. Remember those metal ones on the playground when we were kids. You'd have to hang on for dear life, or the centrifugal force would throw you off? Yep, that is what it feels like. I know it will get better.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Great to hear the injections worked so well, Skip. The pool looks great, too.

    Enjoy the hike, Mike.

Take everything one step at a time, Steve. Easier said than done, I know.

Cool and cloudy - again - today. Gee, whiz, I'm tired of this.

    Good Morning, barely

Late check in after taking my sweet time to get up and get going.

Skip, so glad to hear the good report, and success from the injections. The pool looks amazing and tempting.

Change of plans today since I took so long to get it going. Some phone calls, some meal planning, some cleaning, some music, and some stretching.
