    Rise n shine.

Up at 4:45 today, was starting to get light and birds outside were making a racket. Going to be a steamy one today. Head to pond to meet up again with DS for his morning swim. Cold water but very clean spring water, except late in summer when things start to grow.

I was able to hike Mt Wachusett yesterday. Got there at 6:30 and there were already 19 cars, so I went around to another longer trail and only one car there. By the time I summited I ran into 7 other hikers and eventually total came to 12. Have to start at 5 next time if I want to avoid people. Workout felt great afterwards.

Skip, glad to hear you finally got some relief there. Hope healing continues to a full recovery for you.

    Time to grab the paddles...

    Have a great day.

    Morning!

Long day at home office desk yesterday playing catch up! Got through 2 weeks of email and made strides. Tried to take a break every hour to get up and walk. Great night sleep last night and feel good today. Power of modern medicine

Nothing on tap for the weekend. Might pop a few miller lites and simply relax.

Made reservations to bring me Dad back down in late July. Cancelled his March trip due to COVID. This is the longest we've gone without seeing each other for several years. I've been flying him down about every 6 weeks. He's going stir crazy in quarantine.

Hope everyone has a safe weekend. Lots of spikes in new cases. Arizona and FL are hot spots right now. Interesting as the theory was "hot weather" will be the variable to take this thing down. I'm still erring on the side of caution. No contact; no stores; staying put.

    Cheers,
    Skip

    Good morning gentlemen.

Today is our 33rd anniversary. Today is Philippine Independence Day, and the day I decided to give up my independence to an incredible little filipina. Sadly, not much celebration possible. Some restaurants have re-opened at 50 percent of capacity and with lots of restrictions, but I don't know that we will take that risk.

Glad, you're doing so much better, Skip. Hope the cortisone carries you through until normal healing takes over.

Great sounding hike, Mike. I usually choose the longer, harder path, to avoid the crowds.

    Enjoy your day, guys.

    Good Morning!

Skip, glad to hear that you are still on the mend. COVID is still scary. I think that there will be another balloon of this before it starts to fade again.

I am very glad that today is Friday! Making progress on the todo list, and that helps. Preparing payroll today for Monday, and that also helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning

Late check-in again after getting back from the lab after finally getting tests done for my physical. Today is also our anniversary, #38. DW chose to attend our Nephews wedding in Madison after flying to her twin sisters in Minnesota. So I will celebrate with my son who is going to get some Indian food at our favorite place. I will bake a cake tomorrow. A nerve pain flare-up shut me down yesterday afternoon so I will hopefully get some things done today.
