    TGIF!

Survived a full day chained to desk yesterday. It was a long one - wading through nearly 800 emails and got caught up. Today should be quiet(er)!.

WITW is Lisa? Surely she is doing double duty as a doting Gramma....

WITW is our IN contingent? Did they get lost going to WI?

WITW is Sam/Raine too? Miss seeing the bunch each day....

    Lee - hows the BP?

Enjoy the lake weekend! Remember to charge them batteries!

Nothing on the agenda for us. I still can't drive - so will stay close to home. Electrician hooks up pool pumps today. With luck we'll be ready for toe dipping in a few days.

    Cheers for a great day!

    I’m present and caught up.

Mary, sure hope the lot works out for you and Tom!

Steph. Hope you’re feeling better today. I’m sure it was the greasy food.

I ONLY use worms for fishing and as we all know I have a ton of success!!! Woot. I’m ready to fish now. Maybe I should call in sick. Ha.

That pool looks magnificent. Is that a waterfall at one end? How deep is it? Does the shallow end have numerous long steps to get in the water? Pavers really set it off!! Well done. Glad sciatica isn’t bothering you.

Lee, does your back hurt from moving all those rocks?

Dave, what’s your normal temps up there?

    Bob, biking any lately?

Dennis and Sam, stay cool in Hot lanta.

Hi to Lou, Raine and Lisa.
    Where are they?

    Good morning.

I met a few new (to me) folks in the complex last night and we sat around chatting and drinking beer for 5 hours. So, running a bit slow today. Keeping up with young folks is tiring.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • When the rain left it took the humidity with it. It is warm but dry here. I think I need to schedule a bike ride for tomorrow. I am sure there will be BBQ involved.
    • Sam, are you all packed for the beach. Have a dozen oysters for me.
    • Trying to keep up with the WI land grab. Lots of twists and turns. Enjoy the lake.
    • It's amazing how many emails over a day old are irrelevant.
    • Dave, what do you make of the stand-off in Seattle?
    • Have a great Friday BBB.

    Good morning BBB crew.

Today is our 33rd anniversary, also our DS' 10th anniversary; all is happiness in our world.

Up here, it is not seen as a stand-off, Dennis; just interaction between involved people and their city government. Not nearly as dramatic, from our perspective, as it might seem if viewed through the strange, warped lens of Fox News and the Whitehouse.

    Morning BBB

We arrived "home" about 9. Six hour drive with only a few stops at rest areas and a drive through. Unpacked and in bed by 10. It was fun to get out and see something different even though not. Normal road trip.

Dad and 3 nephews were here alone for 15 hours so have some housework to do...mostly dishes.

I hear the bulldozer so assume they are working on the pond. He hopes to fill it starting this weekend. He bought all the supplies to get water and electricity down there and plans to build a shelter to store the toys and so we can have a ledge for food. Last year's Jerry rigged dock has been removed so also needs to build a new one.

    Good Afternoon,
Been busy working with neighborhood ministries, pressure washed house for couple yesterday
Today had to get new blade for mower where I had loaned to DS, cut lawn, washed car, replanted beans, added to tomato cages where now 6' high; setup meds for next week, put ham in oven to take with us; now starting to pull clothes to pack. Virtual WW meeting in morning while DW takes Sunny to groomer where he will stay while we are gone. Plan on pulling out by 10 in morning.
Pool looks GREAT, glad shots done some good
Once body gets use not having any grease or alcohol it has too rebel because it believes it is being poisoned
Mary, lot sounds great, does it have a good view of lake?
    Happy anniversary Dave and Rita,
I learned long ago I can't hang with young folks and function the next day,
If we don't have police departments, what do we do with bodies of folks that broke into house after we shot them?
Will try and check in a couple times next week.

    Have a great trip! Enjoy!

To answer your question about what to do when we don't have police:
