    Mornin' BBB.

That is 39 more fish than I caught yesterday, Kelly. I went hunting for pike on a fly. Poor timing really for fly fishing for pike. Middle of the day when they go deep in the lake. Got lots of fly casting practice.

In the middle of my pike-less afternoon, I get a frantic call from DDIL to be. She and a friend had traveled from Enterprise, Alabama to Kolomoki Mounds State Park in Georgia to hike with her two great dane mixes. Evidently one suffered a puncture wound that was bleeding a lot. The wonder of smart phone technology. I was able to assist with first aid and find an emergency vet only 6 min down the road. Really nice country vet answered the call and gave great care. All while I sat in my boat in the middle of Bantam Lake.

    When is the fish fry?

Wow Lee! That’s a story. You’re a good guy finding those contacts. Glad dog is ok.
    Sorry you didn’t catch any.

We fished from about 7 until a little before 10. Threw several back. Mom kept them and cleaned them. She says fish fry will be on the 4th.

Today is crazy busy. I was out of the house at 625. Hope to be home by 3. Tons to get done.

Casino opened at 6 am. Line forming at 5. Crazy.

Does that pool have a light show like Raine’s?

    Nice to see you Lisa

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Great remote rescue Lee and you made points with DDIL2B.
    • That's a lot of fish Kelly. I put a lot of small holes in a target yesterday. It was a good day at the range.
    • Good to hear from Lisa.
    • Enjoy the beach Sam.
    • I'm off to an HOA Finance Comm. mtg.

    Good morning BBB crew.

Catching a lot of panfish, like that, is only fun when someone else agrees to do all the cleaning :p .

It's raining! Holy cow, the first half of June has been lousy, weather-wise, here around Puget Sound.

That is amazing Lee. I'm glad remote medicine is finally a thing.

Very productive Sunday. Kitchen flooring layed with trim up. Still need the edge pieces where it meets carpet that were backordered. We also took it into the living room to the front door so dirty shoes can be on hard surface. Pipe layed and pond filling...truck only got stuck in the midst twice while getting trailer (cow tank overflowed not rainwater). Dug hilea and set pipes to be the uprights for the new 30 ft dock that is planned and threw truck loads of sand distributed. Plus the teenagers mowed 🙌

Today dad took the side by side to town to get an oil change and some other maintainance. We will hike soon while it is still cool. I think more dockwork is planned for later. Pond christening is next Sunday but I think youngest niece 13 plans to come with her mom and a friend on Wednesday afternoon.

Today we cut the footings down and welded on old railroad rails (dad retired from BNSF). Tomorrow will level and build 3 10 ft sections to go on top. Water level is raising fast. The footings were inches from the water when just yesterday it was several feet away.
