    Good Morning!

Too bad I gotta go to work, as well.

Yesterday was all about home improvement. Ugh. Long day, but rewarding. We trimmed up several bushes around the outside of the house, so that it can be painted in the next couple of weeks. I did some work in the garden. I also helped Connie hang several pictures/art in the house.

Bill, we did finally take a couple hour break in the afternoon, and watched the movie Knives Out. It is on Amazon Prime now. That was a good movie. I enjoyed it.

    Have a great day!

    Mornin’. Never chimed in yesterday.

Pool looks grand, Skip. Good refuge to have during pandemic summertime, when many recreational opportunities will be closed or limited, or risky. Hopefully stores won’t run out of Millers.

Steve, we used to have a garden that got displaced by a pool. Pool was nice, especially for the kids, but I missed the garden.

I should get my fly rod wet one of these days. Plenty of streams around and stocked, or lakes to put my canoe on. Can even use a yardsale trolling motor I have for that.

Baked two more loaves of sourdough, rose, but came out wide and low, and dough stuck to floured cloth. I think needed more flour.

Wishing relief and healing to those with pain. And healing for our nation. And Be safe out there.

    Morning~

Little too chilly for pool yesterday - but found time to relax with the remote control.

Today is contractors to screen in our Patio; Tues/Wed is sod contractor to fix my lawn.....

    Hoping for a quiet(er) week...... We'll see.

    Cheers,

    Good morning gentlemen.

I mowed and fertilized the lawn, yesterday, in anticipation of the rain today. Warmer weather is forecast for later in the week - finally.

Here in Tumwater, outdoor space with overhead protection is critical, I think, but we don't need screens. Rarely see mosquitoes around our property. Our covered deck is my favorite room of the house, in the summertime.

I spent two summers fly fishing all I could, during my last tour in Alaska, and haven't wet a fly line since. I was just telling my DDIL I would put my fly fishing gear on the table when she is able to host a yard sale. Kind of sad, but why keep it, if I don't use it?

    Good Morning

We too need shade from the worst heat, but a screened porch is a rarity.

I started walking yesterday after my prescribed week of "really taking it easy". A whopping 10 minutes. This week every other day. I had to ice and TENS the knee in addition to my usual back stuff but I was a pretty happy camper for those 10 minutes. I am starting a 2 week increased isolation now that my wife has returned from her travels.
I used curbside pickup of groceries. Last time I tried this you couldn't get a timeslot. I ordered at noon and picked up at 5. I think I will continue this way, at least for the next two weeks. I will only be going out for medical. Today offers a day of phone calls ahead along with some chores.
