Foggy here this morning, 58°, but high 80’s later. Am getting used to an earlier rising time, to avoid exercise in heat. Will probably stay away from local mountain unless I can get there by 5 AM, or it’s raining, just too many people for me otherwise.
Visited DS Nick on his front porch yesterday for an hour. We Both wore N95 masks and kept apart. DS David says he’s camping on Cape Cod this weekend. MA has done very well so far in steadily reducing COVID cases despite a huge number for such a small state; I hope it continues. I won’t be camping any time soon unless it’s somewhere hidden where nobody else goes.

Good Morning!
Mike, it is really cool to see how you are able to get out and about and still be safe. I admire what you are doing, and the exercise that you are getting.
Where I work, hardly anyone wears masks. In my case, I have a private office, and when I move about the plant, I am six feet away from everyone. Anytime I go anywhere other than work or home, I do wear a mask. Still, I feel like I am putting myself at risk daily. It is difficult to find a new norm, and not slip back into old ways. Bill and Mike seem to be finding a new norm that sounds safe. Connie and I were talking last night over BBQ takeout. We have not eaten in a restaurant since March. We probably won't for any foreseeable future either. Many people are, we are not among them.
A couple of more days of work, and then a few off. Many more days like yesterday, and I will be looking for any way to retire. Sheesh! Yesterday, everything seemed like a battle, and driving home from work, I was just angry and agitated. I'm still that way this morning, and got up 45 minutes early. Nothing big, just a lot of little things like trucks not showing up, orders not shipped timely, and EDI failures with a new, large customer in Canada. Deep breaths, today is a new day, and today will be much better.
Have a great day!0 -
Mornin' gents.
I feel your pain, Steve. When those frustrating days/weeks outnumber the good days/weeks, then something has got to give. We try to laugh a lot at the practice all while trying to re-engineer things to work better. Unfortunately, we are a bit handcuffed by Heart&Paw with some things. On top of that, try working with your wife and everyone is female too. Too many mares in the paddock sometimes.
Did three house calls for euthanasias recently. One house, I was told all the inhabitants had come down with COVID-19 early on and had long recovered. Yet, I was the only one wearing a mask (gloves too). Similar situation at other homes. Most mask wearing around here seems to be just for more public situations. I tend to take it a wee bit more seriously.
Steve, thank you for what you and Connie do for MADD. So important.
Bill is too hot. Dave is too cool. I wonder is Sam is too hot in Florida?
Be OP ;-)

Morning~
I'm 100% pro-mask. 100% spray antiseptic. I've avoided stores and gatherings. I'm still a bit freaked out by all this and am surely erring on the side of cautious. You're not alone, Steve.
Lee - I cannot fathom the toll that must take on you somedays. Bless you for being the critter fixer from birth to passing over to Rainbow Bridge.

Good morning gentlemen.
Maybe our presence here, every day, is an indicator that we take health more seriously than many others do. I mask whenever I am in public places.
Had a wonderful hike, yesterday, up to a pair of mountain lakes I visit at least once every year. It was cool at the lakes, but the sun came out on the way down. I covered 16 miles, with 3,070 feet of climbing (most of that over just 2 1/2 miles of rugged trail). This hike is always kind of a test. My legs passed.
It should be in the 70s for the next few days, at least.
Upper Flapjack Lake, with Sawtooth Ridge and Mount Lincoln in the background.

Lee, thank you for the kind words.
Dave, wow! That is so very beautiful! Wow! Middle of June, and there is still snow in the picture.0 -
Good Afternoon
Sunburned but did not go out till after 5 pm
County we are staying in has only had 2 cases, both recovered still will wear mask when out except for beach where easy to have 20 plus feet distance see many not wearing mask reckon if one is on vacation they can’t get virus0 -
Good Morning, barely.
I am a big fan of the mask, which is still required here for stores, offices etc. Just back from PT, mask, sanitize and temp upon entering. I am in my first week of more stringent 2 week Shelter in Place since my wife returned from her family visit to the Minn & Wisc. The preschool decided not to require her to stay home for 2 weeks. I go to PT and to curbside pick up of groceries and my walk as I start ramping things up. That's it. The Bay Area is doing pretty good but after the rallies and some, mostly the young, choosing to relax things on their own, I will continue to be cautious for quite some time.
I am feeling better with the reduced activity and some progress with PT. Productive day yesterday and hopefully another today. Close to triple digits today so staying in isn't hard.0
